Johnny Depp Directing A Music Video
Johnny Depp made his directorial debut filming a music video for the band Babybird, starring Stephen Graham, from 'This is England' and 'Snatch!' and Babybird lead singer Stephen Jones. While I am all for Johnny exploring other creative paths in his life, I MUCH RATHER he stay in FRONT of the camera. :)
The video was shot over two days at Hatfield House, Herts, UK. During filming Johnny Depp was seen jokingly slipping a noose around Stephen's neck and smoking a few cigarettes.
What do you think about Johnny's outfit? He certainly is eclectic.

Why would you jokingly slip a noose around someone's head?

With ALL his millions why does Johnny always look homeless...
I'm a huge fan of his! BTW, he quit smoking a couple of years ago - struggled hard with it- so I'm certain he wasn't smoking on the set. Also, none of the pictures show him smoking. Got to give the man his props!

I can't get over the glasses! LOL!!!
Nice. Depp looks good, not sure about the shades though the rest of the outfit is great though, he does love old things.
Stephen Graham - great actor nice to see them together again lets hope we see them both in a film together again.

Haha I COMPLETELY agree with you about him being in FRONT of the camera - it's much better that way :P But he does seem to be happy to express creativity another way so that's good for him.
Johnny can do whatever he wants!

oooh, Babybird & Johnny Depp, a match made in heaven
I grew up really near Hatfield House in Hertfordshire, it's where Queen Elizabeth I grew up ... sorry, I bet none of you actually care about that!

I'm actually very interested. I think its cool :o)
Actually, you're not the only one who knows or cares about the history of Hatfield House.
I am a Tudor buff & probably know more about Hatfield House than you.
I look forward to seeing this. I think Johnny will make a fine director. I only hope he doesn't give up acting altogether though.
love him!!! love the glases.
he's the best!

he seems to like new challenges so good for him.
He's directed a movie before, so this isn't exactly a "directorial debut".
Love me some Johnny.... mmm mmmm
This is his fourth video that I know of, and he directed a feature film in '97. It's great to see him branching out but, please oh please, Johnny, DON'T STOP ACTING!! No retiring at 50 or any of that nonsense. The world, or at least me and a few million others, need to see you on the big screen.
Yes he always looks homeless.
