Melissa Joan Hart is ready to go as a competitor on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ this season. That doesn’t mean she’s finding it all easy, however, as she confided to OK! magazine.
I just try to be as prepared as possible and practice as much as I can.
Do any of the dances intimidate you?
My partner, Mark [Ballas], has shown me a little fox-trot and a little jive. The jive looked scary! It’s very fast and there are all these little flicks. I start to get the footwork down, and then he’s like, “Now we’re going to throw in a little kick.” I’m like, “Wait, what?”How do you feel about the skimpy outfits?
The cha-cha costume is kind of making me like, “Aagh!” It’s high on the thigh, and my thighs are where I’m not really comfortable. So I’m hoping dancing is going to give me dancer legs.
Yeah, those costumes would intimidate just about every woman, I think! I’m sure this is helping Melissa maintain her weight loss. Are you watching this season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’? If so, then do you have a favorite yet?

I didn’t get to see ANY of the girls dance, boo. I don’t know what my tivo has going on Tuesday nights…I wish this show wasn’t on 3 nights, geez! Wednesday belongs to SYTYCD for me, so I’ll only be watching Mondays. I thought Donny Osmond was great – the only one that made me smile. And I was prepared to be like “eh”.
