Sarah Jessica Parker Supports Barbra Streisand

Sarah Jessica Parker enjoyed a night out at the village Vanguard in NYC to see Barbra Streisand release her new album 'Love Is The Answer'. It must be nice to have a break from filming to enjoy a night out on the town!

When she's not having fun with the family, Parker is on the set of 'Sex and the City 2'. But according to reports Parker is having a hard time pulling herself away from her newborn twins.

It breaks her heart, but she just doesn’t have a lot of time,” an insider tells Star.

To be quite honest I don't have HOW she does it! She works 12 to 14 hour days and then comes home to a full household to take care of.

“She checks in on everyone; then it’s off to bed where she looks over her script before passing out. She’s beyond exhausted. It’s not ideal timing for her to have two babies at home, but she’s doing the best she can.”

It's a good thing her husband is there to help with the kids. The couple hired a nanny as well to watch after the children when both of them are working. What is your stance on celebrities hiring nannies?

I don't think there is anything wrong with having a Nanny, just a long as they don't take over the role of the parent..
If she didn't want to be away from her babies, then why do this movie now/????? - fame hungry I say.

She looks fantastic. I can understand the hiring of a nanny to help with the kids. Lots of parents have help who are not in the business.

You know, how many women have children and then go back to work after their mat leave is up? Why should celebrities be held to a higher standard than the average person? So why shouldn't she go back to work? If it's not okay for her to have kids and go back to work, then a whole lot of other women in North America are also committing a major faux pas. I thought we'd progressed beyond the archaic attitude of women not being able to have it all. Gah!

Whatever, she's not the only mother in the world who works and has babies at home. So what? She works and has her kids.

If I had the money I would have loved to have hired a live in nanny when it was time for me to head back to work.

if she was soooo exhausted and heartbroken because she's not spending much time with the twins, why is she at barbara streisand concert. the story doesn't add up....i'm sure she's spending a lot of time with her children. she looks good for a change.

I heard Barbra's new single "love is the answer" when she appeared on the Oprah show and i absolutely loved it. On another note.....SJP might not be the only woman to have newborn babies and go right back to work, but is still hard for a mom to pull away for hours and hours.

While I agree that she is certainly not the only mother with newborn babies to go right back to work, I think we should also consider how long she has to be on set, compared to the usual eight-nine hour day. At least she has the means to hire a nanny!

Do you actually read the quotes before you type your article? Just wondering.
