Prince Harry And John Mayer Doing Good Deeds

Prince Harry carries on his mother’s legacy by helping charities and bringing attention to great causes. He attended the Well Child Awards in London today. The WellChild organization helps sick children. Prince Harry spent time meeting with the children being awarded, as well as doctors and nurses. Some of the awards given out were: The Bravest Child of 2009 and Most Caring Child of 2009.

Prince Harry gave a short speech:

“Most of us here tonight have not, thank goodness, had to face the enormous challenges of our courageous winners.

“But what you give to all of us through your supreme example, is a very simple thing – inspiration.

“These awards really inspire me – you inspire me and I feel I am just so lucky to be patron of a charity called WellChild.”

I bet Princess Diana would be so proud! :)

John Mayer had a busy weekend for a good cause, as well.

John Mayer visited vets and their families over the weekend in San Francisco. He’s trying to help bring awareness about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

“I will do everything I can in my power to change and reframe the attitude of what it means to be a returning vet,” he told the local ABC news outlet.

It’s nice to see people using their spotlight to bring attention rather than just to get attention.

that is the problem with the USA they treat children like a commodity, so natural and normal human reactions with children such as sitting them on a knew or having fun is now being seen as dirty or sick …………..maybe Harry isn’t dirty or sick, maybe your society is, for emphasizing problems and sticking them on headlines so you think EVERYONE is a pedophile. REALLY. Get a grip. Get some love in your heart. Get some humanity. Harry isn’t weird. YOU ARE.

I’m just a little creeped out by the picture with the girl on Prince Harry’s lap. It makes me laugh though, so the picture is not suuuppper creepy or anything.

I love Prince Harry! It makes me sad that their mom isn’t around to see how well they’ve turned out. I think she would be very proud they’re carrying on in her philanthropic steps.
