Lamar Odom Says His Wedding Was Real
TMZ is reporting that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's wedding wasn't binding (think Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag when they went to Mexico - ratings much?). During a Lakers press conference, a reporter brought up the ceremony and Lamar defended his marriage.
"It's crazy how perception works in America when you're looking at things from the outside.
Anybody that was there will tell you that it was a beautiful event and it was real."
Real as in... emotionally binding? Or real as in .... you are legally married? TMZ says the prenup is still getting sorted out.
We've learned two high-powered family law attorneys are already squaring off, trying to hash out the prenup Odom wants as a condition to marriage. Neal Hersh is doing his bidding, while Lisa Meyer is repping Khloe. We're told the negotiations -- which began last Friday -- are already contentious.
Our sources say the couple will tie the knot -- legally -- once the prenup is inked.
What is your interpretation? Are these two married? Or not?
I think they did marry and this so called 'prenup' is actually a 'postnup'. Regardless, I think people are being harsh on Khloe because she has been dubbed as the unnattractive sister. I believe her and Lamar do love eachother and quick marriages can work out. Jack White married Karen Elson THREE WEEKS after they began dating in Brazil, and they've been together for 4 years and have two children. These things can work out.

I think they got married for show, granted it could also be for love. But they already stated the whole thing was quick and done for reality show purposes. Sure they wanted to get married and were able to pay for it through the show. I'm guessing since Lamar wanted the prenup they did the whole ceremony part but since they didn't sign papers that they are legally NOT married. Married in the heart maybe but that doesn't mean anything if the two decide they don't really love one another. They probably wouldn't even have to divorce. My guess is they will have a private ceremony after the documents are signed and a few weeks later show proof that they are married. Or TMZ will find the document before they can release it proving the got married at a later date.

I think that it wasn't made legal because of the ongoing issues with the prenup. I think, maybe they were just going to get married with no prenup and his legal team put the team skids on that one. So rather than postpone it they went ahead with the wedding for the show and will make it legal once all they details of the prenup are ironed out.

I listed to the video on TMZ regarding the walkie talkies and it does sound totally staged. I understand that their lives are on a show, but your wedding??? You are getting cues on your wedding day?? I think its fake. I understand why Khloe would do it... $$$$. Maybe Lamar is trying to be like T.O. and this whole thing will spin to a show for him.

LEGALLY they're not married. but all they have to do is sign the paper after they finish all that prenup stuff......lets see if they last until then :p
FOOLISHNESS...the HOdashian sisters are all about publicity.....they need to cut it out...the biggest culprit is the mother...who has no shame pimping her daughters....no matter the age.....I hope he wakes up and realize he's being pimped for publicity and the fake reality show...when will it end.....dang shame is all........
