Lacey Schwimmer from Dancing With The Stars is recording an album. She is hoping to launch a successful music career in the upcoming year. We already know she has the dancing skills to do a world tour, but does she have the vocal ability?
“Lacey went into an LA studio on Oct. 1 and began work on her debut album, which is due in early 2010. She recorded two potential hit singles during her first two days in the studio,” an insider tells Life & Style.
Lacey’s music with be filtered with heavy dance beats and uptempo songs.
“Her music is in a dance-and-pop vein, and one of these songs will definitely be released as a single in November,” adds the insider.
“I heard some rough mixes of the first two songs,” says the insider who was at the recording sessions. “They’re amazing. They really make you want to get up and dance.”
Lacey has signed on with EMC/Bowery and recored her debut record with WMS Entertainment Group based out of LA.
What do you expect from Lacey’s music? I’m crossing my fingers that this won’t be a fail like Paris Hilton’s album was!

I love Lacey, but music? C’mon now.
I would expect her music to sound like everything else that is currently on the radio. I don’t mean that as a slam against her, just that nobody seems to be doing anything that stands out these days.
You are probably correct. However, I do like Lacey. She was one of my favorite dancers when she was on So You Think You Can Dance.
Why don’t they just leave making music to the talented professionals… seems anyone can put out an album now. I am not interested and don’t even want to listen.

Should be interesting to see what she comes out with. I dont watch DWTS, but I do watch SYTYCD, and she comes from a pretty talented family (Although all Mormon, who certainly don’t act like it, but keep saying it…Sorry, I’m a recovering Mormon…)
