Heather Mills Launches Vegan Restaurant In The Bronx

Heather Mills was on hand at the opening of the new VBites fast food restaraunt in the Bronx yesterday afternoon. The former model, now animal rights activist, and vegan created VBites due to her strong beliefs behind animal treatments and rights.

I haven’t been out yet to try the food but the pictures they have on their website look delicious!

She belongs in the Bronx like a domestic cat belongs in water.

  2. Rita says:

Meat is my life so thanks but no thanks!

  3. Chelle says:

Good for her but I need meat.

You people are so bitter about the woman that tries so hard to promote vegan diet. You seat in your beds and do nothing, then you attack someone who opens a vegan restaurant in the Bronx (one of you must have given her the advise on this location). As to Heather, thank you for all your work you are doing for animals!

  6. bgduckie_01 says:

yeah i can imagine….that’s why i havent even tried lol.

  7. lis says:

I am a vegetarian and think the world needs more veggie/vegan restaurants.

    But none owned by her.

  8. kimmytoo says:

i wish there was one here. no vegan rest around.

  9. Ariel says:

I think this person missed an important word in their first sentence: away. GO AWAY, HEATHER.

GO HEATHER!!!! YOU ARE A TRUE INSPIRATION AND ACTIVIST. I APPLAUD YOUR DESIRE, YOUR DETERMINATION AND YOUR STANCE AGAINST ANIMAL CRUELTY AND EARTHLY ABUSE. I CANNOT WAIT TO EAT AT VBITES!!!!

  11. miss_megs says:

I wonder what made her choose the Bronx???

GOOD FOR HER. The Bronx is one the poorest neighborhoods in the country and also has a SEVER obesity epidemic to battle. Good for Heather for bringing healthy food to a neighborhood that makes it impossable to eat well. Say what you want about her but this woman CONSTANTLY stands for what she feels and is constantly thinking of bettering the Earth in everything she does. Trash me all you want but I would DIE to see you guys try to shop for cute clothes when you dont wear leather, fur, silk or wool. It takes dedication to be vegetarian and even more to be vegan. You go heather and I only wish I knew you were opening this restaurant cuz I would have been there to enjoy your opening day!!! I cant wait to eat there next weekend!!!!

  13. KissKiss says:

I think this person IS Heather :)

I’m actually a vegetarian and VBites sounds like a nice place to eat… Too bad it’s associated with that woman

  14. This is one of the most unpopular people on the planet yes? If her restaurant can make it, then it is a sure sign that the economy is turning around.

I’m not a huge fan or hers, but most of the time celebrity owned restaurants end up doing fairly decent.

I used to be a Vegan Baker in Brussels and although I’m not vegetarian anymore (thanks to NZ offering a better lifestyle to animals compared to many countries) I still miss the food we used to make… so much tastier and healthier…. I would go back to cooking vegan/veg but my b/friend would leave me lol.

  17. Nimbus says:

I used to be a Vegan Baker in Brussels and agree that when I was a vegetarian (not anymore admittedly b/c I came back to NZ where animals have alot more free space and are generally treated better without all the hormones etc used in many countries), I agree that there are not enough vegan/veg restaurants around…. I don’t really know much about this woman so won’t comment on that.
