They said she likes to be called Peter because she loves Peter Pan. I don’t think thats abnormal, but I do think it was strange when they said she wants to be a boy. There’s a difference between being a tomboy and wanting to be a boy. Have any of you ever thought that you wanted to actually be a male? I can say definitively that I have never thought I wanted to be a boy, even when I thought it sucked being a woman for whatever reason.

I respectfully disagree with your comment. I remember being 3 and absolutely having a fit when I thought my Mom was going to put me in a dress. I think it’s totally possible that this could be her style. However, I do think Zahara is adorable, too. To each her own.

Angelina is proof that you can have tons of money and still be trash!! She is gross, and I really don’t think that the kids completely dress themselves. Little girls at that age want to dress like their sister and friends. I really do not like Angelina and am starting to really dislike Brad.
I think they are both gorgeous, but they really should try and put something frilly on Shiloh.
Wow, really people? A little girl who doesn’t like frilly lace and bows and all of a sudden she’s a lesbian and has major problems. She’s a tomboy. She probably worships her big brothers and wants to be just like them. It’s pretty normal. I wanted to be just like my big brother and all of his friends and was a major tomboy. Not all little girls have to be the whole “sugar and spice and everything nice” crap.
People are so mean. I remember precisely how I hated when my mum dressed me in shiny shoes that hurt your toes and lacy dresses that I never liked wearing. I’ve gone through fashion phases where I’ve worn skirts and dresses only, when I dresses like a dyke in office jackets and jeans even though I’m perfectly straight, a phase where I thought short corsettes (sp) and low riding jeans was an appropriate attire for school and I’m currently in a phase where I do not wear skirts or dresses, but I’m definitely no tomboyb because I still wear make up and dress up skinny jeans with high heels.
Leave the poor kid alone.

The kids are beautiful, Im glad Brad and Ang, let the kids be who they are, and express themselves how they feel inside, Pax loves his long hair, Madd loves wild styles, with a dash of color, and Shi, loves dressing like a boy, I think at one point, Ang said that she likes to be called John, or somthing like that,, it was a boys name anyway… Great parents,, They kids will be well rounded and full of self esteem.. Bravo

Maybe the girls were playing dress up. They look very sweet and happy together. I have never been an Angie fan, but I wouldn’t be smiling if cameras were always in my face.
the girls look cute. even though shiloh looks like a little boy here, at least they dont push her to wear dresses and girly stuff. they let her be who she wants to be.

Shiloh is 3 years old…Angelina has been dressing her this way since she was an infant..this is not Shiloh’s style. If you dress a little girl in little girl clothes and make a big deal out of them then they want to wear them.

Thanks for saying exactly what I was thinking. I grew up with brothers and was much more interested in what they were doing than having stereotypically girly clothing and activities thrusted upon me. And WOAH, amazingly I’m straight.
More importantly, Shiloh in only three so what happened to her front tooth? -What’s the story about that?

zahara is adorable! shiloh .. um, looks like a boy. she must’ve fallen to have lost her front tooth.
Shilo looks like she loves adventure. I bet she’s a handful. I think it’s great that they don’t try and dress her up all girly. She obviously wouldn’t like that. Angie and Brad seem to let their kids be who they want to be. I don’t care what anyone says, I love this family, they are always together and the kids each get their one-on-one time with mom and dad.

Jolie picks a look for her kids on what she wants them to be. remember they are going to grow up to be these great people, and that came from jolie’s mouth. since she was born Shiloh has been photographed in plain/boyish clothing, she is being raised that way and she will until she is a bit older and hopefully she will start to develop her own personality (crossing fingers)

I think what Zahara´s wearing could be the choice of a little girl, but I never saw any little girl dressing up for fun like Shiloh with hat and tie. I´m sure they get dressed by a stylist….
What Zahara is wearing is the same strapless tent that her mother wears only it’s not black. Every child is influenced in their style by what their parents are like. These two desperately want their kids to be mini-hipsters.

To you, maybe. To me they are a normal family, because they love each other, they’re happy, and they’re making it work. “Normal” is a very subjective term. What’s normal? Living in the same crappy town your entire life, doing the same thing everyone in your family before you did? Sounds pretty damn boring to me. But you know what, if it makes you happy, so what? As long as a family doles out unconditional love and takes care of one another, in the long run, what the hell does it matter?
