Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys has been confirmed for the Swine Flu and thus the band has had to put their “media blitz” for their new album on hold. All of their New York appearances that were scheduled for tomorrow are cancelled (the release date of the new album, This Is Us).
“We were really looking forward to spending time with our closest fans and friends in NYC,” Littrell says in a statement. “I hope we can come back soon and do everything we can to help.”
Even though Nick Carter, Howie Dorough & A.J. McLean have been tested and are not ill with H1N1, the doctors prescribed Tamiflu to them and others touring with them, who just returned from Tokyo.

I just got over the H1N1 virus. I caught it from my boyfriend. It put me out of commission for more than a week. I even missed a freaking exam! Glad it is GONE! But it’s going around the university like CRAZY!

Petshopboys aren’t boys either, it’s just the name of the band, it’s been around so long the name has lost it’s purpose (a good thing), and it kind of has cute irony.. But i’m not too interested either, about their music that is.
