Lindsay Lohan Is Back On Drugs Says Michael Lohan
Lindsay Lohan’s father claims she is addicted to prescription drugs. Michael Lohan – who has a history of drug abuse himself – wants to help the ‘Mean Girls’ actress beat her reliance on legal substances as he’s terrified she will end up dead. He told website RadarOnline:
"I'm going to get her off the prescription drugs that she's on. I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse because it's not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you. Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson."
Although he refused to say what medications his 22-year-old daughter is taking, he admitted her addiction has taken over her life.
"You know why Lindsay's not acting in feature films right now? Because she can't. Because the girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that's grown because of the prescription drugs. She can't be herself.
“When you hug her she's vacant inside. When she kisses or holds me I get chills, and not in a good way - in a bad way."
Michael – who has only recently repaired his turbulent relationship with Lindsay – met his eldest child following the break in at her Hollywood home in the summer and was shocked by how much she had changed.
"She's a different person. I was out there for a week when she was living at the Sunset Marquis Hotel and I would sit there and cry. It was horrible. This was not the kid I raised."
As a parent, it's just horrible to read about Michael watching his child abuse drugs. Unfortunately, it's something that is so common in society these days. I won't get too personal, but I have several very close family members with addiction issues. You feel helpless as there is nothing you can do but hope they realize they have a problem. I know Michael is addicted to fame, but Lindsay is still his little girl.

She was so cranked when they interviewed her at the fashion show. She was barely able to put sentences together. It was seriously sad.
I know many people who might have taken illegal drugs in the past but have "grown up" and now continue their highs with prescription drugs. People make good money selling their prescriptions and doctors hand them out like candy. Her skin always looks like her liver is overloaded. Hope she gets some help.

I can't get over how wrinkly her face is....and what's going on with her lips? horrible. she needs to lay off the sun, stop smoking, drinking and doing drugs and get some sleep....will she even make it to 25? what a mess. if you think that pic is bad....some sites have even worst pic of her.

It's all his fault. Where was he when this girl was growing up? Oh yeah, that's right he wasn't around. He and his media-loving ex-wife dumped her off at a hotel when she was just a child and said "bye-bye." What did he think would happen to her? He has no one to blame for her life than himeself and his selfish ex-wife They should be be ashamed of themselves. Lindsay was an extremely talented actress who had a lot of potential. I really hope someone close to her who loves her for who she is and not her fame will get her some help now.

Its quite obvious that this girl has had serious problems for a long, long time. However, I think her father would be more of a father if he kept his flap shut and helped Lindsay personally. I think he's a scumbag for outing his daughter further than she already is.

I keep forgetting how young she actually is because she looks like she is 45~ so sad - too bad her mother is just interested in the money and fame than her daughters well being. I would be shocked if this girl makes it to 30. She seems in too deep.

I feel so sad for her. She has no one really that she can turn to for help. The adults in her life have let her down so many times, and it is obvious she could use some form of guidance and advice to get her back on the right track, or back into rehab.

She's not on prescription drugs. She has to be on the hard stuff like meth. She looks like more than twice her age....Plus many 40+ yr olds look way better in the face than her. I feel bad for her. She needs to change her life around and get her act together.

It's sad because I always thought she was a cool young actress. It looks as though she's permanently damaged her face. She definitely does not look healthy. She likely doesn't have any real friends. She needs help. Hollywood is a game. Some win and some lose. Big time.

Where have we seen this before, you know, well-meaning parents going to the press about their child's substance abuse and life choices? Let's see, a certain British singer, with a beehive, tattoos, and an ex-con husband from whom she's separated...........
That's right, parents.....when your famous kid is threatening your piece of the pie, GO TO THE PRESS!
Outpatient drug rehab might be the best thing for her. Sad to see that she's slipped back into the crippling reality of drug addiction. People that young still have a chance to reclaim their lives and I'm hoping the worst doesn't happen.
We shall see.
