Rebecca Romijn Says Her Girls Like To Wrestle

Rebecca Romijn’s nine-month-old twins love wrestling. The ‘Ugly Betty’ actress is surprised at the way daughters Dolly and Charlie – her children with husband Jerry O’Connell – wriggle and fight as she expected them to be less boisterous.

“I had this fantasy that when I would have two little girls they’d be wearing matching outfits with little bows in their hair. But these girls wrestle, and whatever I put in their hair they pull out and it goes directly in their mouth.

“Whatever babies shouldn’t do, they do. If I have a sweatshirt on with the cord in the hood, they pull it out and try to wrap it around their necks. I’m like, ‘Nooooo! Don’t do that!’

LOL! I guess most moms of girls would say the same thing right? My daughter is this ball of explosive energy. There's no silent tea parties like I expected. My days are spent catching her as she leaps off our couch and beds!

If you are a mom to girls, do you find that our angels aren't completely made of sugar and spice and everything nice?

My daughter is an adult now, but she was and is a daredevil. If it could be climbed, she climbed it. If you could jump off it, she jumped. Fortunately, I expected this, because I was the same kind of little girl.

What a revelation that little girls are not tiny little stepford babies! I must admit though, I have noticed that most people's daughters do seem a little more subdued/calm than my sons do - my boys must be super active all.the.time. We will be having a little girl soon and I doubt that she will be any different; all the kids seem to have gotten my hyperactive gene.

I don't have any girls, but my son is ALWAYS doing something. He loves to kick his legs, roll, whatever he can do. I fear the crawling/walking stage as he'll be into EVERYTHING.
