Kate Beckinsale has been named the Sexiest Woman Alive. The 'Whiteout' actress tops the list compiled by Esquire magazine, and although she is thrilled with the honor Kate is concerned how the male members of her family will react to her title. She told the magazine:

“This whole notion of being named Sexiest Woman Alive is going to earn me quite a beating! You can't have that title with four brothers. I'll get wedgies. Headlocks. Noogies.

"I'm feeling that I must earn this - I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something."

LOL! I love that she admitted her brothers still abuse her! :)

Kate takes the honor from last year’s winner Halle Berry and posed for a sexy photo shoot for the November issue of the publication wearing high heels and different underwear sets.

The 36-year-old actress – who is married to director Len Wiseman – has previously admitted she isn’t the perfect wife, but makes up for her lack of skills in the kitchen by being a fantastic lover.

"I'm the worst wife in the cooking department. I always thought you can't be good at food and sex, but you can always order the food in. I'd rather my husband didn’t order in the sex!”

Well, there you have it!
