It’s been confirmed that Lauren Graham has been cast in the new NBC show “Parenthood”, in the role of Sarah, “one of the many siblings of the Braverman clan”. She will be replacing Maura Tierney, who had to bow out of the role while she’s undergoing treatment for breast cancer and the recovery following. I am a big fan of Maura and I’m sad that she is battling cancer and unable to do the show. But I’m sure Lauren will do an amazing job. Helen Hunt was reportedly in the running as well but it’s rumored that talks fell through.
This is an amazing cast that they have lined up – some of them include: Peter Krause(Six Feet Under – one of my favorites!), Dax Sheppard, Monica Potter, Craig T. Nelson, and a lot of others!
