Tori Spelling Defends Herself Against Accusations That She’s Too Skinny

The print edition of Star magazine targets Tori Spelling this week, claiming she has dropped to an extremely skinny 95 pounds. Tori has taken to her twitter page to defend herself.

Star Mag…LIES! Literally not 1 factual thing in entire article. And, come 2 my house&weigh me Star! I’m 107lbs. if you care about FACTS?!?

According to Tori’s IMDb page, she’s 5’6″, so 107 sounds incredibly low to me, although it’s better than 95 pounds. Then again, Tori has been sick lately, so maybe her weight is unusually low.

But she wants you to know she definitely is NOT 95 pounds. Hopefully she’s feeling better. What a time to have to fight the tabloids!

True, you and I have the same height and weight. But I’m pretty sure our bodies don’t look the same.. at all

  2. Anonymous says:

im 5’6 and weigh 120 pounds and im slim. So 107 has gotta be unhealthyl

  3. Nemiha says:

I am 5’6 and weigh 110.. I think it’s just the way she carries it. A couple of years ago I had gotten really sick and dropped down to 96 lbs. it happens. stress makes somepeople lose weight there are alot of things that can be taken into consideration for being that skinny other then going straight to OMG she has an eating disorder.

  4. Anonymous says:

she’s also too ugly, too untalented and too stupid.

  5. bgduckie_01 says:

i agree with you in that our bodies dont look the same even if we have the same height and weight. im the same as u girls.

  6. Nemiha says:

    I argee
I actually look as if i weight more, because I carry most of the bulkiness in my arms and legs. but I have no waist.

No one person can tell you whats normal or not!

  7. Anonymous says:

    who cares!

  8. DonnaJ says:

I never was crazy about this girl and apparently neither is she.

  9. dieselchicklett says:

I don’t care what her weight is..she looks unhealthy and that’s all that matters.

  10. Anonymous says:

Every body type carries weight differently and can have a different ideal weight – imo I think Tori is too thin – her sternum is way to prominent (I would say it was just skin stretching from the implants but she didn’t always look that way so I doubt it is just that) and her thighs/upper arms just don’t look quite right. She would probably look better with another 5-10 lbs on her. It is sad how unhealthy hollywood pressures women to be, especially the pressure put on them to “bounce back” in lightning speed after childbirth.

  11. Daniee says:

It’s her business is the point here. If they weren’t saying she was too skinny, she would be too fat.

  12. Helen says:

I’m sick of discussing people’s weight, either they’re too thin or too fat *rolls eyes*

  13. Anonymous says:

I really don’t think she weighs even 107. She looks very unhealthy.

  14. Anonymous says:

If she is 5’6 and weighs only 107 then she is underweight. Screaming “I’m not that underweight, I’m this underweight” is ridiculous. She’s too thin according to her BMI and thats not healthy. Quit tacking on the excuse of being a working mother cause even working mothers can take the time to eat.

  15. maiah912 says:

    Thank you! I completely agree.

  16. Monica says:

I don’t care what her height or weight is — her appearance is very unhealthy. Numbers don’t matter when you look like that. Y

  17. Monica says:

I don’t care what her height or weight is — her appearance is very unhealthy. Numbers don’t matter when you look like that. All that matters is that she NEEDS to eat normally again.

  18. switchstance5 says:

107 is WAYYY to tiny for her height and frame! she just admitted to the whole world that she has a problem with revealing her weight!

  19. DomesticGoddess says:

    hear hear!

  20. sweet kiddo says:

stop defending yourself ..just get a mirror

  21. DonnaJ says:

    Straight up.

  22. Anonymous says:

She should probably stay away from shirts that look like they have a skeleton rib cage on them. lol Not helping with the whole too thin thing.

  23. Chelle says:

    Pictures don’t lie.

  24. sweet kiddo says:

i think it was obvious :)

  25. DonnaJ says:

    LOL!

  26. Ariel says:

THANK YOU for this comment. It reminds me of a girl I knew years ago. She could not put on weight, and she hated it. She had to shop in the children’s department because not even the junior clothes would fit her. It wasn’t a matter of her having an eating disorder.

  27. Ariel says:

Oh, yes, anonymous commenter! I can tell by your lack of user pic, identifying information and capitalization skills that you are much prettier, talented and intelligent.

  28. Ariel says:

    I agree more!

  29. Ariel says:

Yes, but she’s in California, where underweight is considered normal weight, not to mention desirable.

If she was what we imply is a “normal weight,” most of us would be complaining that she’s chunked out because we don’t remember what “real” people look like when caught on film.

  30. ashmeljer says:

I like Tori but she really does have an eating disorder. She is way too thin.

  31. Ariel says:

We’re not exactly helping with all of our commenting.

  32. KissKiss says:

I’m as tall as she is and I weigh maybe 4-5 pounds heavier. But I really don’t look that skinny! But then again.. I don’t have 2 huge silicon-filled balloons in my boobs

  33. Ariel says:

Maybe your bone structure is slightly larger than hers?

  34. bgduckie_01 says:

maybe if she always looked like that but there’s some old pics of her wear she looks skinny but healthy.

  35. Anonymous says:

after having 3 kids i weighed 110 lbs and im 5’5. not abnormal, of course i was 20 then . so who knows.

  36. Anonymous says:

you had 3 kids at 20?????

  37. OutInLeftField says:

Subtract 10 pounds from whatever she weighs, 5 pounds for each fake boob she’s sporting. She’s an idiot.

  38. Mizzy says:

so 107 pounds is alright? that puts her BMI at 17.3, which by DSM standards means she is anorexic. And yes, she probably does weigh even less than that. I worry for her kids more than I worry for her, they are going to learn from her behavior and grow up to have serious body image issues as well.

  39. Ninni says:

107 lb (48,5 kg) makes her BMI about 17,5 and what ever ppl think about the BMI as an index for healthy weight, under 18 is kind of unhealthy for most. But it does have a signifigant difference to being 95 lbs(43 kg) /BMI 15,5 or so, which would clearly be anorexic. That is if she’s 5’6” (167,5 cm). But i think she’s kind of fighting against the windmills here, tabloids publish all kinds of crap, it’s an endless battle and that was one news ppl wouldn’t have taken that seriously, maybe.

  40. Anonymous says:

107?? woah that’s a whole lot better! (read that with sarcasm) I’m 5’3 and used to weigh 107, which was considered a bit under normal weight by my doctor. She was right. That was when I was in my “Skinny is in so i can’t eat a lot phase.” Now i’m much healthier and I weigh 115. So at 5’6 and 107, Tory is most likely not as healthy as she’d like us to beleive.

  41. Ariel says:

I can’t imagine her finding motivation to get healthier when we sit around here snarking on her body.
