Katie Holmes and husband Tom Cruise spent some time with their daughter Suri Cruise while out at a park in Cambridge. The couple bundled up in layers of clothes while Suri was wrapped up in a blanket.
Does it ever puzzle you that Suri never wears coats? She’s always in a blanket instead of wearing a jacket. Does anyone know why?

This just feels like a photo opt, like every other photo that has been taken of these too. Kate looks much happier when she’s not around Tom. Actually so does he. I suppose it could be because the photog is close. They need to keep their life private and stop inviting the press into their lives. Yes, most defintely Suri should be wearing a sweater at least and some leggings or some tights. Poor girl is going to catch a cold.

I live in Boston and the day this picture was taken wasn’t cold at all. In the shade it can be a little breezy but when youre in the sun you can actually feel hot. I think what Suri is wearing is fine…

lol … having had this battle with my stepdaughter, I finally gave up. I did have a coat with me if we were out, but she never seemed to get cold, and never did catch a cold. Kids will be kids. And who flipping cares about the kid’s hair? Katie doesn’t look very happy, unless she’s alone with Suri. I’ve never been a fan of hers, but I don’t think she deserves to be unhappy …
You know Cambridge isn’t a hotspot for celebs, so I guess for stars of Tom’s caliber, TMZ and the like send out crews to stake them out? I really don’t know.
I went through this same battle with my older son when he was about 3, he never wanted to wear his jacket because his shirt was so “cool” that he wanted to show it off. So I would take it along and when he got cold it would be there for him. Finally one day he stepped outside, felt the cold walked back in and put it on and he’s been fine since then. Now he waits for jacket season to show off his “cool” jackets.
The battle is just about to begin with my 2 year old, I see his resistance to jackets coming too.

I suppose it could be that Katie is upset with the photog that close to them, but everytime I see a photo of them, its always feels like a photo op with them. Smart celebs can go out in public without being followed. There are photog free places, yet celebs go to the infested places. Like Robertson or the Ivy. It’s ok to have a private life, but don’t bring your public life into it. It seems that’s what Katie and Tom are doing. They want us to believe that they’re relationship is solid, but i bet if they didn’t have Suri, they would have been divorced by now. As for Suri, yes, they need to put a jacket on her or even a sweater. That child will catch a cold at spoint point. I know that Suri hates pants, but at least put some tights on her in the cold. To bad if she doesn’t like it, these two should stop coddling her and act like their the parents.

It begs the question of who is parenting who? Not to mention everywhere they go they are carrying her. I understand that maybe around gobs of people or paps but they are in a park!

I love that Tom was made second banana in this post. As for Suri, she probably tells them she wants to be carried in a blanket instead of wearing a coat. Suri probably has her own “people” now to make sure Tom and Katie abide by her wishes. Doesn’t Suri speak 7 different languages and have her own fashion line by now in addition the hours she spends doing ballet each day. I hear in her spare time she is going to learn orchestra instruments and sing opera. Who has time to put on a coat.

My kids rarely wear/wore coats at that age. It’s a PITA taking them off for the car seat and then putting them back on. I usually threw one of my hoodies over them instead.
Well, they are in the park. But who is taking the photo? Though i am not fan of Katie AT ALL, i believe her body language just reflects of what she thinks of the pap. Can you imagine them following you?

I saw Katie last year on a park putting a sweater on Suri and she keeps taking it off. Katie finally put one on her and Suri cried so hard Katie had to walk away carrying her away from the onlookers and paparazzis.Its not easy when your life is free for all to see and judge.
