Sacha Baron Cohen is incredibly funny, but who knew he and Isla Fisher were so kind, too? Jennifer Tapiero’s Maltese-Chihuahua mix went missing when some construction workers left a door open on her property. Then her uncle, whose phone number was on the dog’s tag, received a phone call later that afternoon from a “British-sounding man,” according to E! Online’s Marc Malkin.
The man said he had found the puppy wandering along Laurel Canyon, a very busy street, and he saw cars swerving to avoid hitting it. He made plans to meet up with Jennifer and her uncle to return the dog. By way of description, the man said:
“I’m very tall and my fiancée is really tiny. You can’t miss us.”
It was only when Jennifer and her uncle got there that they realized it was Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher.

That was very nice of them to do that. I was with a friend once that stopped to move a big bull snake out of the road so it wouldn’t get hit. When she got back in the car, I remember just looking at her and asking her if she had gone mad. But then I am scared to death of snakes.

Thank God someone stopped to save the dog! OMG I mean, who just swerves around a dog on a busy road and doesn’t stop to help?!?!? Don’t they care about it being hit?!?!? Frig, I stopped once to assist a turtle cross a busy road. I LOVE animals.
That’s a very nice thing to do! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats (The cats were strays we took in) I wouldn’t know what to do when one of them would go missing!
