How awful! At a book signing in London for her new autobiography, Dreams, Leona Lewis was attacked by a male “fan”. She was about 90 minutes into a book signing event when it happened. I just can’t imagine how frightening that was!
“Leona was the victim of an unprovoked attack this afternoon at her book signing,” the star’s rep said in a statement. “The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona is understandably shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings.”
The police were called and they arrested the 29 year old man on suspicion of actual bodily harm. Hopefully the man gets some help.
I wonder if she’ll feel comfortable continuing on with the press/signing tour for the book? I’d be a little freaked out.
