Selena Gomez is jumping on the bandwagon of entertainers getting involved with the fashion world: Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) reports that she is starting her own fashion line. WWD reports the Disney star is “dreaming loud” with her new line, Dream Out Loud.
“Growing up in Texas, I was sort of close-minded and kind of a tomboy, but as I’ve traveled, I found such a love of clothes,” Gomez said while primping for a day of filming on the set of “Wizards of Waverly Place.” “It’s really always been a dream of mine to have a line.”
Selena’s line reportedly will focus on clothes that are “pretty, feminine, and bohemian,” which is how Selena describes her own style.
“She has such a good sense of what she likes and what she doesn’t like,” said Melillo, who is the creative director for the Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez line. “It was surprising as I”ve never worked with someone so young, and never really expected her to be that smart. She has a desire to be involved, and nothing is sent out there without her approval. It’s nice to see her have this genuine interest.”
As a matter of fact, Selena admits to being “quite picky.” I’m curious to see clothes that are pretty, feminine, and bohemian, and I bet Selena’s fans are, too!

well she dresses nice and proper clothes for her age. so im pretty sure she’ll have cute clothes out there. but i am also tired of these celebrities thinking they are designers as well.

I think her clothes will be great! Her style is like an average 16 yr olds and kids my age [14 or aroundabout] will love the clothes she may/may not make!!

Hmm..i’m curious to see what she can come up with. She’s totally adorable and the outfits she’s been strutting are classy and cute but I agree, there’s nothing Bohemian like in her style.
