Jennifer Lopez Wants Her Children To Be Proud Of Her Work

Jennifer Lopez told She Magazine that she wants to work on projects that her children will be "proud of" one day. The 40-year-old actress, who is mom to 20-month-old twins Max and Emme, said:

"Being a mother has changed the way I look at my work in a very positive way. I want to be able to create and be part of things that I know my children will be proud of one day."

Jennifer has just wrapped 'The Back Up Plan' and is set to work on the following films:

The Governess: The story centers on a professional thief who, in order to pull off a major bank heist, poses as a nanny to the three unruly children of a wealthy widower. When she starts to fall for the kids and their father, she must decide if she can give up her past for a chance to start over.

Echo Park: Lopez and producing partner Simon Fields have teamed with the cable network on the half-hour project "Echo Park," a comedic look at the world of yuppie, Latino and hipster cultures within Los Angeles' Echo Park neighborhood.

Do you enjoy Jennifer on the big screen? Or do you prefer her on the radio? I am a big fan - so I'll take her either way.

I think the majority of her work is not bad, there are the occasional movies or songs that could have been better.

I really liked her as Selena but otherwise I think she's just okay. Nothing really stands out about her acting.

I agree! She is pretty FABOLOUS! I wouldn't mind being her for a day...

Ehhh.....*yawn* Her acting skills are really nothing to brag about. I think she is a bit overrated in that department. That being said, I think she is an excellent marketer... She should stick to her other projects. I prefer her as a "singer"/entertainer (LoL).
