Lindsay Lohan is due in court later today. Although it is not known why the actress has been ordered by a judge in Beverly Hills, California, to appear it is rumored she is not complying with a court ordered alcohol education course.
Lindsay, 23, was ordered to take the course as part of her three-year probation for a charge of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in 2007.
Gossip website TMZ claims sources running the education course contacted the court about Lindsay’s conduct and that she has been “outright violating the terms of the program”.
The court order was made during a routine progress report on Wednesday. Records show no warrant has been issued, suggesting it is unlikely a probation violation has occurred.
However, if the judge determines Lindsay has violated the terms of the program, her probation could be revoked and she could be jailed.

Saw a clip of her Court appearance and she actually smiled at the judge when she addressed her. I think she thinks it is a joke.

According to People.com all she received was an additional year for her probation, and that “if” she screws up (as if not going to court mandated classes isn’t?) she’ll find herself in hot water.

i just checked tmz and they are LIVE watching her………well actually TRYING to see her through the window. she’s probably loving all the attention which doesnt help her at all. hopefully she can get some serious help soon.

I agree, she was in jail for 84 minutes, maybe if it had be 84 days she’d be in a different place in her life today.
I’m hoping that if she indeed goes to jail, it’s not going to be a cupcake jail. I believe the slaps on the wrist are WHY she’s not getting help- she thinks nothing bad will ever happen to her.
So instead, if she gets a real punishment it’ll sober her up a bit.
