Katie Cassidy, Miranda Cosgrove, Jennifer Carpenter, Emily Blunt, Sofia Vasilleva, Kat Dennings, Amber Rose, Becki Newton, Katie Holmes, Julianne Moore, Renee Zellweger, Shanae Grimes, Robin Tunney, and Zoe Saldana each attended the 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute. The event was sponsored by Elle and held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. What a turn out!!

This year’s honorees range from screen legend Julie Andrews to talented casting director Bonnie Timmermann, as well as several of today’s most critically-acclaimed actresses: Emily Blunt, Katie Holmes, Julianne Moore, Robin Wright Penn and Renee Zellweger. Emerging actress Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek) will receive the Calvin Klein Collection Spotlight Award. Julie Andrews will receive the L’Oral Paris Legend Award.

These women each in their own way have had a “profound impact” on the industry and the event was to pay tribute to the group.

  2. lara jane says:

Kat Dennings is gawjus! Becky Newton looks cute here, too.

  3. love says:

You have not seen Katie’s films because most are Independent ones after her DC days and she made more indie films. She did Broadway which not everyone can watch. Extra Man is underway and also that Del Torro movie with Guy Pearce. Katie will conquer Hollywood while the coward haters bashing online will have the last laugh.

  4. IMHO says:

Holmes is Hollywood’s future gem. She looks fantastic.

  5. anonymous says:

Katie’s career will be reckoned with. She is so pretty, gifted and honest. Katie is also normal without those celebrity baggages or the constant drama seekers.

  6. twilighter says:

DonnaJ: Katie got directors drawn to her because of her sad puppy eyes aka doe-eyed look. Its what landed her job Dawson’s Creek from creator Kevin Williamson because Katie has those saddest eyes he’s seen. Another Hollywood icon known for her sad doe-eyed look was Audrey Hepburn.

  7. Chelle says:

    Katie looks tired.

  8. DonnaJ says:

Hate to disagree with you, but I don’t think Audrey had sad eyes at all. Doe eyed, yes, but sad? Hell no. As for why directors are drawn to her, I have no idea, but I see sadness in her eyes, real sadness.

  9. Artemisia says:

Kat Dennings is stunning! I really like her.

i’m sorry, but i can’t stand pics of renee…that stupid sucking on a lemon face she makes drives me nuts! i think she’s a really pretty/cute woman, but smile or do nothing. the puckered lips/squinty eye thing is bad. also, jenne elfman looks great. i love her new show!! hope people are watching cause i don’t want it to get cancelled. :)

  11. OutInLeftField says:

I didn’t realize Katie Cassidy was David Cassidy’s daughter.

  12. DonnaJ says:

Katie looks so unhappy. Its in the eyes, Chico, they never lie.

  13. sweet kiddo says:

    yep yep

  14. papyrus says:

when was the last time Katie Holmes made a movie that was worth watching? her career is a joke! thats why girl married tommy.

  15. Anonymous says:

I didn’t know Katie Holmes had EVER made a movie worth watching. And please – that top she has on – when you have absolutely NO bustline to speak of (not a bad thing) – stay away from sheer tops. It looks ridiculous.

  16. kimmytoo says:

Katie looks nice and Kat Dennings looks really pretty.

  17. maiah912 says:

I like Katie’s outfit here, too.

  18. Jill says:

Not that it matters but I’m curious, is Amber Rose black, white or a combination of something else??

  19. Rita says:

Jill: I think she has latino heritage.

  20. Jill says:

Thank you. I think it’s very a pretty shade.
