Jennifer Hudson Misses Eating For Two

Jennifer Hudson wishes she could carry on eating for two. The singer-and-actress – who gave birth to her son David in August – would love to continue eating as much as she did when she was pregnant but has been forced to “snap back” to a healthier diet to lose her baby weight. She told ETOnline:

"The trick is getting back into your old ways. If I could go around eating like I ate while I was pregnant, that'd be the way to go. But you have to snap back to it. It’s like an on and off switch, you have to go back to the norm.”

The 28-year-old star – who has the 10-week-old tot with her fiance, trainee wrestler David Otunga – loves being a mother and is amazed at how quickly her son is growing.

“He’s continually growing every day and getting smarter and cuter as the days go by. He tries to talk. He really tries and makes noises like, ‘Yaaaaaah’. Nothing comes out, but he really tries to talk. I’m just like, ‘Are you serious?’ He really tries. He’s adorable. I love him. He tries to smile too, and I love it, love it, love it.”

Thank goodness Jennifer is happy again. With everything that happened to her, it's nice to hear such positive things from the singer.

she looked like she was eating for two (adults) even before she got pregnant.

Life is way too short to be mean spirited and just plain ugly. Opinions are something we all have yes, but take the time to up lift and not to bring down. Jennifer knows where she came from, and she is very comfortable. I just feel to even take a second out of your time to try and bring someone elsa down is such a waist. If you are not a fan ok!!! but, Jennifer Hudson was beautiful even when she was carring more weight. She is one of the most humble and grounded multi-talented artist in the industry. It would be very hard to believe she did something bad to you.

You're right, Norma..."Opinions are something we all have for one reason or another", so let people have their opinions. Papyrus was just calling it the way he/she sees it. We see people on this site all of the time who comment on how skinny a celeb is and no one ever says anything about how nasty those comments are.

wrong wrong wrong. I have been pregnant and two children. I never used being pregnant as an excuse to eat like a pig. Doing so can lead to health problems for the mother and child.

I don't think some women can help it. While I didn't eat like a pig, I HAD to have prime rib every night for dinner and it wasn't a matter of it being an excuse because I hate prime rib. I think sometimes the body overrules the mind.

I totally get the whole craving thing, but when people constantly say "I'm eating for two" as they make a heaping bowl of ice cream of filling that second plate at the buffett, it is just an excuse.

Everyone is different on how they handle themselves while being pregnant or not. I don't feel like i have to pig out just because i'm expecting. I still eat healthy, exercise and i'm sure my baby would be a very healthy little one. If anything i think this is the perfect time for us ladies to be careful about the things you put in our bodies and to be healthier than ever, but not everyone think the same and that's what makes the world go around.

No everyone was born to be skinny and no every pregnant woman wants to stop eating so they can fit their size 0 dress two days after the baby birth! Enough with the self-rightous people who think everyone should be "as parfect" as they are. I am proud of Jennifer Hudson and I think she lost quite a lot compared to when she started in the business!
