You know all that hoopla in the press about Renee Zellweger starring in the third ‘Bridget Jones Diary’ movie, and the talk about how she was going to wear a fatsuit rather than gain 30 pounds again, and all that?
Someone forgot to tell Renee! When OK! magazine asked her about it at Elle’s 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Event, here was her response:
“I don’t know anything. Who said that?” she [said].
When she was clued in that the British press has been going on about her return to the popular character, at least Renée seemed slightly enthused.
“Oh, goody!??” she said, adding, “It is flattering. It’s very sweet.”
So, would Renee be willing to do a third ‘Bridget Jones Diary’ movie?
“If it’s good.”
Now this is one rumor I’m really bummed to hear isn’t true! Maybe Renee was just joking around with them and never let up on the act? (Pretty please!)

No I won’t watch it. I haven’t even seen the first one.
I love the first film and I get along fine watching the second film. In a 3rd movie, I’d like more sparks with Mark Darcy and her to be a little more advanced in a career. I don’t think she needs to gain the weight for this movie. If you do the hair right she’ll look fat anyway… and she can wear some padding suits to make her waist and legs bigger. Make sure her friends are all still in it! I’m obsessed with BJD1!
I would definitely like to see it. I’d be really curious, since it would’nt be based on a book…

I saw the first one but not the second one. I don’t really like romantic comedies. I don’t find them romantic or comedic.
