Mischa Barton Says She's Done With Television
Not every show is going to work like 'The O.C.' did, and Mischa Barton has learned her lesson - no more TV work. Guess the actress got burned from her time on 'The Beautiful Life'.
You put all that effort and energy into something just to have the network cancel the show before it's 6 episodes in. A movie is much different - there is a guaranteed start and finish. Viewers will be able to actually see how the script ENDS. LOL!
"I think I need to back away from the whole TV approach," she said. "That whole world of network television, probably isn't, for me, a good idea now. I need to start reading for more serious roles."
So what is Mischa looking into these days?
"It's too early to tell yet," she said. "I'm passing on all the [early] offers, because that's not the stuff you want to do. I want to go fight for interesting things and look for something that's going to be interesting for me ... as a role."
Can't wait to see what she wins.

Not a fan of hers, but she looks good here! Much better than I've ever seen her. Her hair, makeup and clothes look good and normal :-)

I can't decide whether or not I like her dress. As for her acting career; I've never seen her act, so I can't comment.

The only thing I've ever seen her in is The Sixth Sense. She was decent in that, but nothing memorable.

I saw one episode of the OC and a movie she was in, she's a terrible actress. She should take acting lessons since she's "in between projects" or she will forever be in between projects.

I've never been a fan of Mischa's. She is a horrible actress, and is usually a big mess on the fashion end of things. I can't see her being in demand for movies either.

She didn't have much luck after The OC, did she? I think it will be hard, if not impossible, for her to find a good movie to do that'll make bank at the box office. I think she's pretty typecasted.
