Chris Brown Is Still Learning From His Mistakes

Chris Brown is still learning from his mistakes. The ‘Run It’ singer gave a candid interview on NY radio station Hot 97, where he spoke about his regret at assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna in February, and told how he is trying his best to make amends.

“I’m human. If people feel a certain way, I’m not going to say they’re wrong. But it’s not right to judge somebody when people make mistakes all the time.

“I’ve learned from my mistakes and I’m learning from them. And I regret every moment, every second of it.”

Chris, 20, also admitted he is still not over ‘Disturbia’ singer Rihanna, and still has strong feelings for her.

“We’ve been friends since I was like 15, we got serious when I was like 17.

“Feelings are feelings and they don’t go away overnight, especially if you sit down and are like, ‘Look, I’m going to really be in this relationship with you, whatever the case, past our busy schedules, past us being two of the biggest artists.’ I really care about her.”

He also promised his fans he won’t make the same mistakes in his life.

“I won’t let you down anymore. That was one of the most embarrassing things for me, because of my image and who I was as a young role model to a lot of kids. It was hard for me.”

What do you think about Chris’ answers? Is it all just PR? Or is Chris truly remorseful?

On still caring for Rihanna
I even twitter about certain things and people look at it like “oh he’s crying”. I’m human. It’s not going to be easy for me. It’s not going to be easy to have a friend or someone that I care for, to let go and let them leave out of my life. And then have the media go from one extreme to the next and make the relationship pull apart even more by what people are saying when they don’t know our situation.

On how he will move on & date other women
Dating… I’m taking my time right now. I’m never gonna stop loving women. I’m definitely taking my time right now because I don’t want to rush into anything serious and make a mistake. And at the end of the day I still have feelings for Shorty. I’m Not saying that I’m trying to get back with her but I gotta get over the hump.

On Oprah turning her back on him:
I’m very tight. I don’t diss Oprah because I respect her as a woman and what she does for women all over the world. I just feel that me and her did so much together in the past as far as me working with her school in South Africa. I feel like at the time when I would have needed a helping hand, not to boost my career but for her to reach out to talk to me and Rihanna and say “this is wrong..this is right”. I’m not saying have me on the show. Just help, that’s all i was asking for. It was never a thing where it was like “Look I want to help these two young kids” instead of putting the blame on just one person and bringing up 3 domestic violence guys who got a kick out of doing whatever..and then comparing them to me. I felt some way about it. ”

[Chris would not answer Angie's question on whether he was injured as well.]

On industry friends
People always say “If I had money that would make me happy”. My music makes me happy. My fans make me happy but in the industry itself, I’m not happy. Nobody’s friends. Everyone’s backstabbing. People show their true colors when you are down.

Oh gee, who the hell he think he is? He just called him self one of the biggest artist. WTF? That just really says he is not honest. I am 100% he will hit again and he is just such an a**hole! ‘ we will make it work despite we are one of the biggest artist’ I never never will buy his records. Such an ass. People make mistakes. Yeah people kill people, but what then you say ‘oopps it was a mistake, so dont judge me’? I am sick of this guy…

We’re all to blame if we (myself included) didn’t made any comments in reference to any of his post Vera would not post anything about this looser. She knows which post get the most attention. Every time there is a post about Rihanna, Chris Brown, Brangelina or the kardashians theres usually tons of comments either negative or positive. So till then she would keep posting about this people.

I dislike him more every time he opens his mouth. This was embarrassing for him? He still misses her? It’s still all about him, and nothing about what he did to her.

  12. BoN says:

    PR BS!!!!!!!!
Whatever, I aint buying it. He can have all the feelings he want but the truth of the matter is he beat her like he was beating a dude.
    He needs to STFU.

  13. suffy_78 says:

He is just feeling sorry for himself for all the negative publicity he got.All he wants is to get back into the game, go back to being the lovely rap singer with the eawesome girlfriend whom he beats behind closed doors.

  14. maiah912 says:

I totally agree. He did have a TON of media attention.

  15. DonnaJ says:

The only one that knows how Chris feels, is Chris. The press has made a prime example out of him; its a shame they don’t do that to everyone…who do a LOT worse.

  16. lara jane says:

I’m wondering if they disabled the spam filter, because none of my posts have been flagged this afternoon, whereas last night nearly all of them were! So frustrating!

  17. DonnaJ says:

Vera, how do you expect to have a running site when almost every post is marked as spam?

  18. KissKiss says:

    did he steal her gloves?

  19. Anonymous says:

Who cares? Are you so desperate to print something that you have to post about Chris Brown?

  20. Anonymous says:

How about you stop giving him attention? Your guilty of supporting his career by giving him free press. Idiots.

  21. OutInLeftField says:

Totally PR. He made a serious serious mistake and he’s acting like it was nothing and all he has to do is apologize and life will get back to normal for him. Doesn’t work that way Chris. Why don’t you start by volunteering at women’s shelters so you can see the long-term effect of what you did.

  22. switchstance5 says:

Ever since what he did to Rihanna I’ve had no interest in Chris Brown.

  23. papyrus says:

“I won’t let you down anymore. That was one of the most embarrassing things for me, because of my image and who I was as a young role model to a lot of kids. It was hard for me.”" – what an @sswipe, HE’S NOT THE VICTIM HERE!!!!!!
