Guess Michael Lohan’s appearance on the Maury Povich show was the straw that broke the camel’s back because Lindsay Lohan is finally responding to the PRESS TOUR that her father decided to throw.
“I’m so hurt that someone who calls himself my father needs to use the press to communicate with me.
“I have not spoken to my father, nor have I responded to his threatening and erratic messages over the last several months,” she said. “It’s so sad that he needs to stay in the media spotlight by using my name and making up excessive lies. He should instead try to be a real father.”
Do you think this will slow Michael down? Does he even care what’s going on with Lindsay? Is this cry for help really all about him?

I agree with so many of these comments. She used to be pretty and talented. Whatever her dad is saying or doing, clearly this girl has gone downhill fast and needs help, whether she’s willing to admit it or not.

“Is this cry for help really all about him? ” Ok, so yeah, Michael Lohan is completely worthless as a human being, unfortunatley. However* anyone who can see knows just by looking at lindsay that she has a drug or alcohol problem, or both. She looks wasted in more than half of the pictures that are taken of her. So it can’t be written off as “oh, michael lohan just wants the spotlight.” That may be true, but Lindsay most certainly needs to get help. Lots of it.
What the Lohan’s need to do is deal with this PRIVATELY and stop going to the press and to twitter to talk about it. NO ONE wants to hear about it anymore. Lindsay’s parents need to wake up and see what they’re doing to her and take her to rehab and take Ali with them because he’s fast following in Lindsay’s footsteps.
How long until the dad gives a very public response to this?

I feel sorry for her. I have a daughter her age and I can’t imagine any parents putting their child what these two idiots have put her through. Is it any wonder she has issues? I just hope for her sake that she can rise above all the crap and get herself grounded.

This trainwreck needs to end. Every time you see her now she looks wasted, and then you have her “father” exploiting her at every turn. I know I’m just stating the obvious, but this girl needs an intervention, like NOW.

I don’t think her father should use the press however by the looks of her, something is wrong and if that is the ONLY way as a parent he is able to communicate than so be it. She looks like she needs some serious help. If she is in denial about it perhaps she shouldn’t speak out at all. I don’t think either of her parents care what happens to her. They only care that she keeps them in the spotlight. I really wish someone out there who knows her will get her help. She had so much potential when she was growing up, she was really talented.
