Dita Von Teese And Evan Rachel Wood Have An Awkward Encounter

Dita Von Teese, who was married to Marilyn Manson when he met Evan Rachel Wood, had an awkward encounter with Evan on the red carpet at the International Night of Stars event last night. (According to OK! magazine, Evan reportedly is identified as a factor in their divorce papers.)

Moments after Gwen Stefani’s amicable breakup ode Cool plays, smug Evan Rachel Wood struts through, sidling right up beside Dita, 37, who is chatting away with reporters.

At 7:45 p.m., the burlesque babe cups her hands to her face and scatters as soon as she realizes the girl who ruined her happy life is inches away when flashbulbs start popping.

Isn’t someone supposed to be watching to make sure things like this don’t happen? Ironically, Dita was talking to reporters about moving on after her divorce before Evan arrived.

“I think I’ve become a little bit more careful in my selection now,” she says of what she wants in a man these days. “I look for people that keep me calm and bring happiness and joy to my life instead of the opposite of that. I look for elegance combined with someone who has great sexual chemistry with me. It’s the good parts of the bad guy and the good parts of the good guy, too. I like all of it.”

She tears up when asked how she bounced back from her 2007 divorce, telling me, “I’m not anyone to give relationship advice. I don’t want to talk about it anymore.”

Dita was willing to talk about the current man in her life, Count Louis Marie de Castelbajac.

“He lives in Paris, and I just got an apartment there, so I’m really excited to go between L.A. and Paris so that I can really appreciate the great things about L.A. and the great things about Paris because there’s great things about both,” she says, her wet eyes still glistening between dark eyeliner. “I’m just excited about living in both places for awhile. But it’s still new. It’s seven months in. It’s in that great new stage.”

That sounds so romantic! I don’t think Dita’s doing too badly for herself, do you?

Evan Rachel Wood is such a shameless smug little b!tch. I still find the idea of her transforming into her bf’s ex (after she helped to split up their marriage) odd and pathetic.

Well, ppl are still fighting about Jen and Brad and that had happened way before Dita’s divorce. Even if she moved from it, which is not that easy a job, it doesn’t mean that she won’t be affected by it. She is a human after all. My heart is with you Dita.

BS! Ditta Left Manson because he has a problem with drugs and they were striving for other thingd. Miss Wood was an after thought.
