Well, Samantha Burke did what it was rumored she would do: posed for a photoshoot and did an interview, reportedly for $300,000, with Hello! magazine, according to Radar Online. In the interview, Samantha said Jude Law has not seen their daughter, Sophia Lee, or sent any gifts.
“[Sophia's] already got such a personality – I think he’ll fall in love with her when he sees her.
“Her features are more like Jude’s. She has his chin, and she does a little pout that I notice that he’s done before – I think her eyes are more like mine though.
“You can’t always tell when they are so young but her eyes don’t have that big, glassy look that his do – mine are a little smaller and more like hers.”
Yet Samantha still hopes Jude will be an involved parent.
“I hope for him to be just as good a dad as he is to his three children by Sadie Frost.
“He’s a great father to his three kids. She is his daughter and I believe he’ll come through – I mean once you see her face how can you deny it?”
Jude is currently starring in ‘Hamlet’ on Broadway (and spending time with his older kids, judging from the pictures 
, while Samantha and Sophia are in Florida. Hopefully Sophia will be able to have a relationship with her father!

hopefully jude will learn his lesson through all this! although, it sucks for both sides – the baby and jude. the baby brought into the media by the money-grubbing mother, and jude who most likely didn’t want this but is stuck with it now. i just hope karma comes around to the mother. i guess this is jude’s.

It can be actually very hard for people to get pregnant, I know I have been trying for a year and there is nothing wrong with hubby or I. It just hasn’t happened. So I doubt that she planned it. But I do think she should be keeping her mouth closed. I do understand that she probably did this interview to make sure she could care for her child but she could have gone about it differently.

I do not blame her for wanting a financial cushion for herself and her daughter. Jude has made no effort to meet his daughter despite being on the same coast and having the resources to fly to Florida.
His choice to ignore the innocent child, screams volumes and perhaps she is doing what she feels she has to do so she can stay home and raise her baby!
It’s not just the woman’s fault. Pretty sure men are just as capable of putting a condom on as women are of taking birth control.
ladies this goes to show that sometimes when a man says he doesn’t want to have a kid that he really doesn’t want to have a kid. that old “he will stay if i’m preggers” trick doesn’t work out. women need to respect themselves enough to not act like trash and gift give for money and fame. i feel bad for that kid.

extremely selfish. At “24 years old”, you should know better than to have unsafe sex with a relative stranger. I believe she took advantage of the situation to get pregnant on purpose, all the while knowing she was going to exploit the baby for every penny she could. Implorable, to say the least.
I agree with this. But I think it’s deplorable more than implorable.
I think she is looking for publicity as well, but that doesn’t take away the fact that Jude is the father of her baby and still hasn’t even seen his daughter or sent a balloon in honor of her birth. Sadly, she can make him support her financially, but she can’t make him be a father. Its his loss.

I surprise myself with the way I feel about this. If I were Jude, I would just make sure the check is sent every month and stay far far away. When the child is older, she can have her own private relationship with him, if that is what they both desire. Not one that involves the mother in any way. This woman has no idea what kind of father Jude is. Can you really tell that from looking at pictures or having an overnight fling ? I too think she planned this. I hope Jude has learned from it.
