What a party! Sir Richard Branson and Eve Branson hosted ‘Rock The Kasbah’ held at Vibiana last night in Los Angeles. Several heavy hitters came out to enjoy an evening of ‘exotic Moroccan meets old Hollywood glamour’. I’m intrigued.
Who attended? Sharon Stone, Lindsay Lohan, Lindsay Price, Kristin Cavallari, Daisy Fuentes, Jenna Elfman and Gavin Rossdale. The celebrities made small talk, ate a great meal and enjoyed performances by Natasha Bedingfield and Estelle. I had the chance to see Natasha in concert and she really does have an amazing voice!
Proceeds from the night go to Branson’s Virgin charities and the Eve Branson Foundation, run by Richard Branson’s mother, which helps Moroccan women set up small businesses to support their families.
Tickets for the event went for between $750 per person to $15,000 for a V.I.P. table for ten.
Anyone’s outfit particularly stand out to you? What do you think about Sharon’s makeup?

Lindsay needs to sit her ass down somewhere. I love her, but she needs to go away get her self together and get off of whatever she’s on and then try to come back. It’s a shame she doesn’t have that family support like Britney. I think that’s a lot of the problem.
I’m only a month or two younger than Lindsay, but I’m not wrinkled like she is…

Lindsay Lohan and really needs to stop parading herself around town until she gets cleaned up. Actually it’s her handlers should. I’d be willing to bet that she’d never know to show up at these events unless someone pointed her in the right direction. I guess there are too many people that rely on her for their income to do what’s right. Shame.

Richard Branson is my hero. LOL I want to go on a ride on SpaceShip Two in the worst way. We got to see the “mothership” Eve this summer and it is just amazing. And I’m so sad at the way Lindsay looks.
I was actually at this event, Sharon Stone was seated a table away from us. She looked gorgeous. She acted gorgeous, she is gorgeous, in every way.
Lindsay Lohan was also there, she looked pretty much the way she looks in the photos.
How could she look any different? The poor woman is showing the dregs of her addictions.
I wish someone could get through to her, she is throwing away her beauty and her life.
The fact that this was a charity event makes it even sadder.
She may be clean now, I don’t know, there were over 300 others there, I wasn’t there to look at celebs, we were there for the Cause.

Rock the Kasbah is 2500/ducket this year. The proceeds go to charity and the event is jam packed with celebrities every year so it is (more of less) the “chance of a lifetime” for fans with an insatiable appetite for the famous Hollywood glitz and glamour. You can’t buy a ticket to the Academy awards.
