Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale took their children Kingston and Zuma to visit Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch for Halloween in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. Zuma is still so very laid back – you have to love that about babies. They slowly take everything in and are pretty much very easy to please. Kingston, on the other hand, was having such a great time running around with his sword and throwing fake cats. I can’t get enough of that kid!
A few days ago while Gwen took part in Neil Young’s annual ‘Bridge School Benefit Concert‘ she began to cry on stage while singing ‘A Simple Kind of Life’. I couldn’t remember the song, so I looked it up on YouTube. It’s about wrestling with conflicting drives of career and motherhood. Gwen wrote it shortly before marrying Gavin.
What a great song! I was too young to appreciate it when it first came out in 2000. Click here to see the video.
