This is a tear jerker! Miley Cyrus serenaded a little girl at the Concert For Hope this weekend. The proceeds from the concert benefit City Of Hope’s cancer research efforts. Wow – according to People, Miley donated over $2 MILLION dollars from her last concert tour and is donating again on her current tour!
In addition to her performance Sunday, Cyrus is donating $1 from every ticket sold during her current Wonder World Tour. On her previous tour, she raised more than $2 million for City of Hope.

Okay, so in all fariness you did warn that this was a tear jerker…but I think some water or something spilled out of my eyes anyway.
I can’t say I’m a Miley Cyrus fan, and I am not familiar with her music. But I do know that helping those in need is something that we should all do not only the rich and famous. Everyone should share a meal now and then.
