Jamie Foxx Is Too Old For Love

Jamie Foxx claims he is too old for love. The ‘Law Abiding Citizen’ star insists he has no problems meeting potential girlfriends, but they soon lose interest in him when they realize his advancing years. He is quoted by Britain’s Daily Express newspaper as saying:
“What’s weird is when you meet a girl who is 23 and you are talking to her, even her voice is high-pitched, she’s young.
“You ask her how old she is, she says, ‘23, how old are you?’ and when I tell her I’m 41 it’s like I’ve just told her I have cancer. It’s ‘Oh my God, how long have you had that?’”
Why not try meeting women your own age Jamie... just saying. :)

Thats pretty ridiculous. Age is just a number, it doesn't define who you are unless you let it. He just sounds so stupid.

Agree that age is just a number! My husband is 14 yrs older than me. But I guess it does depend on the people involved too...
This age-is-just-a-number-bullshit comes probably from someone who is not over 30. Once you are around 40 you can definitly feel and see that you get older. Men are usually great in ignoring their own age but still enjoying some 23-year old fountain of youth...I could have never fallen in love with some 20 year older men. never.

Coming from someone over 30, I can definitely say that it depends on how mature the people involved in the relationship are. Sure, in Hollywood land it's not likely to be a successful relationship, but I for one live in the real world, not Hollywood.

::sigh:: I am SO over this guy. He is a decent actor and has a decent singing voice.. but really, he's not the greatest person in the world. He acts like God's gift to the world.
Of course a 23 year old is going to think someone in their 40s is old. Ummm.. you could be her DAD. The man is so self involved that he wouldn't even think about dating someone his own age.
He needs to grow up. Yes, some relationships work despite age differences...but thats when you have things in commom. That doesn't mean you should go trolling for girls half your age. Don't be "that guy."
