Jessica Simpson gave Extra some insight into what her perfect man’s qualities are.
“I definitely love a spiritual man — somebody that is going to always inspire me.”
“I don’t want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men … people that will always keep me intrigued.”
“And, you know, I love artistic men — somebody that really understands their art,”
“I like a confident man,”
Sounds pretty reasonable, right? I think she deserves some happiness in her life. She needs a good guy who will be good to her. Is there anyone you can envision her being a good match with?
Jessica also shared that traveling for her VH1 show The Price of Beauty right after her breakup was a good thing.
“I couldn’t have had this journey at a better time in my life — to seek out beauty, to seek out confidence, and to seek out the power of a woman.”
She’s really comfortable with herself and is over all of the negative stories written about her.
“It really is about who I am and what I want to become, and what’s going to make the best version of myself,” she says. “What people say about me… all that stuff is not really important.”

Haha, you beat me to it. I was going to say she bores out easily because she has the intelligence of a blow fish. However, she has a good resume of dating intellectual man. I mean, come on, Tony Romo, Nick Lachey, John Mayer… These guys are Newton’s and Beethoven’s of our generation.
