I LOVE this: hearing about a Hollywood child actor who has some semblance of a normal life! According to Radar Online, Dakota Fanning was named Homecoming Queen this weekend. She’s also apparently quite a talented cheerleader at Campbell Hall Episcopal School in North Hollywood.
Unfortunately, I don’t have rights to the pictures, so you’ll have to check them out here, but it’s great to see that Dakota is leading a semi-normal life (in addition to being a truly talented actress who’s joining the ‘Twilight’ phenomenon).

Okay… why did they nominate her? Is she actually cool/likeable, or were her classmates just trying to score brownie points with the famous rich kid? I’m glad she’s participating in normal high school activities, though, so I hate to judge.

I guess there’s no way to know? It would seem to me that if someone famous was at the school, a lot of people would be jealous and not nominate her BECAUSE she’s famous. I’m guessing she must be well liked.
