Elizabeth Mitchell Talks About 'Lost'

If you're an Elizabeth Mitchell fan who was devastated to see what happened to her character, Juliet, in 'Lost' (I won't mention specifics even though the season finale did air six months ago), then you're in luck: she's returning to TV tomorrow night in the highly-anticipated remake of the 1980's show 'V.'
Yet when she sat down with Entertainment Weekly, all the questions were about, of course, 'Lost.'
What was it like to film that final scene?
"..for me it was... easily heartbreaking. It wasn’t one of those things to think about it. [The scene] was really primal. And it was such a lovely opportunity because there’s always been this theory that I just may be a really really horrible actor because I don’t show any emotion. I love that we got to see all of her rage, because to me, that’s what’s driven her. To have the calm exterior, I always had to have that underneath..."
There's some spoiler stuff about last season's finale and the upcoming season, so I'll post it below the link if you're interested. Click on the continue reading link below to find out more about what happened to Juliet and what's coming up on 'Lost' from the show's producers.
On a completely different note, doesn't Elizabeth look like a completely different person when her face is expressive?

Producer Carlton Cuse explains why Juliet had to die.
"As the story is now nearing its conclusion, some characters just aren't going make it all the way to the end. Even beloved characters aren't going make it all the way to the end. And sometimes we have to do things that are really painful, like killing Juliet, because that’s what makes the story feel like the stakes are genuine, and people feel invested that characters who are beloved can actually perish on our show..."
Gulp.
However, it's not the last we'll see of Juliet. That's right, Elizabeth's agreed to return to 'Lost'!
"The only thing I could think of was that she gets to beat the c-r-a-p out of Ben [laughs]…. I was like, 'I think I'm going to be really busy. But I'm so in love with this character, it's not like you have to twist my arm. So, thank you.' It was just a complete rollercoaster of [emotions], though, because I had already said goodbye."
So what happens?
"It's probably exactly what you expect, but because it's Damon and Carlton, you know they're just going to turn it on its ear."
I. Cannot. Wait for either 'V' or 'Lost'! Are you excited yet?

It could be all that plastic surgery which makes her look like a different person. Generic Plastic Fantastic lips, nose & boobs.
