Jessica Simpson Lashes Out At 'Melrose Place'
I like seeing how close Jessica and Ashlee Simpson seem to be! While Ashlee reportedly is struggling with being let go from the show, Jessica let her feelings about 'Melrose Place' be known on twitter.

Meanwhile, anonymous "set insiders" gave Us Weekly the scoop on why Ashlee was let go from the show.
"They hired her because they needed a good name to help create buzz," a set insider told Us Weekly. "But she was embarrassingly bad. Producers cut her down as much as possible."
Seconds another source: "She's the worst actress, but nobody will tell her."
Ouch. Yet more "sources" tell Us Weekly that Ashley is focusing on acting because it offers more "consistency," so she can be closer to Bronx.

Oh man....'7th Heaven'. I haven't seen Ashlee in her latest role but her character on the other show was not good at all.
Aren't they all bad actors?? Nobody seriously watches shows like this for the stellar acting. Its trashy TV, an escape from reality. My god there are some "A list" actors who are worse.

I haven't seen the show mainly because she's on it and I thought she was bad before the show so I can't imagine she's improved any.
Jessica's comments made me LOL. She's really not helping her sister by saying things like that. It just proves that Jessica is bitter because her sister was fired for being a poor actress and not because she was only hired to do a certain amount of episodes. Bow out graciously girls.

I don't watch the show normally, but I was flipping through stations one night and stopped on this one because I was multitasking. When I started to pay attention to the show, ALL the acting was terrible. And yeah, that includes Ashley.

i tried to watch the first episode of melrose place and i couldn't even make it long enough to see ashlee. she's bad, but to single her out is unfair. the show is unwatchable, and it's not her fault.
Good lord, can't Jessica shut up for 5 seconds. I don't want to hear about her private life or how "unfair" her sister was treated. Jeez, be a little professional.

I've watched the show a couple of times; truthfully, she's not that bad.
Honestly, they're just people, there's no need to praise or hate them. I love the style category of this website. I would like to see more research and emphasis on what the stars are actually wearing.

I didn't think I would like the new Melrose place but I actually do enjoy the show, but just the other day I was thinking Ashlee Simpson's voice just annoys me and how I just can't stand to watch her, so I am very happy to hear she is off the show.
As for Jessica, that's really unprofessional and honestly I wouldn't burn a bridge with ANY TV networks if I were her, considering she may need them to promote something she maybe doing in the future.
I've never seen her act but I've seen a clip with her and pete on law and order (or something similar like that) and I thought she was horrible and pete was bad too.

I just bought that top Ashlee is wearing from Urban Outfitters for $19 a few weeks ago....someone is penny pinching now that they got kicked off Melrose
both of these attention whoring sisters need to shut up and go away.
You know the saying it's hard to fly like an eagle when you are around a bunch of turkeys. I think judgement should be withheld until she is given something that can show her abilities with actors who are well trained.
I don't get that eagle saying. But if you are trying to say that Jessica Simpson is a turkey then right on!
I watched Melrose Place for a little while and she was horrible, I think she has potential but she needs to study acting a little more...I do feel bad for her though because she was used for her name and pretty much hung out to dry... :-/
Yes, her acting was not up to those skills displayed by her sister in Employee Of The Month.
