Katie Holmes Lines Up Her Next Project

Tom Cruise isn't the only busy one in the Cruise-Holmes household! Katie Holmes' next project was announced today on Variety. She will be an executive producer and star in the film 'Romantics,' replacing Liv Tyler in the project.
Film revolves around eight friends from college who reunite for a wedding. Holmes, fresh off her role in Miramax's "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark," will play Laura, the maid of honor to Anna Paquin's Lila, the bride. Laura and Lila are best friends who both have a past with the groom ([Josh] Duhamel).
It's based on the novel 'Romantics' and is scheduled to begin shooting this week in New York. Luckily, New York and Boston are just a short flight apart!

I read this book and its amazing! WTG Katie!!!! The paps should give this family a break.I saw in youtube Katie's bodyguard protected the men who fought the photogs keeping them away from Katie when she was at a coffee shop back in Australia.

I find her lovely and a gifted young lady. I cant wait for her movies also Tom's. Katie is a role model. Tabloids bring the lies but she just lives her life and handles everything with grace while other stars play up the drama and are so mess up.I also dont see her selling herself cheaply in magazines to promote how hot and sexy she is.

This story sounds familiar, and I haven't read the book. Probably a retread.
I know maiah912 I like Katie and Liv together than Paquin and I havent seen Liv since The Hulk film. Duhamel is yummy.
Producer Katie sounds cool and I notice she does not need makeup to look pretty. My only minor complaint because this sounds like an Independent movie so its not wide release.
