George Clooney's Next Project

George Clooney's a busy guy! He's currently shooting the thriller 'The American' (see thumbnails below). He has three films coming out: 'The Men Who Stare at Goats,' 'Fantastic Mr. Fox,' and 'Up in the Air.' Yet that hasn't stopped George from signing on to his next project: 'The Descendants.'

[The film]...centers on a wealthy landowner who takes his two daughters on a search for his wife's lover in the hopes of keeping his family together.

It's based on Kaui Hart Hemmings' novel 'The Descendants.' Does that even matter or is George's involvement in the project the only thing you needed to know?

i forgot what this movie is about but it seems like some ppl really want to see it. im gonna have to watch the trailer. the name is just weird though. i guess after watching the trailer it'll make more sense to me.

I'm really looking forward to Fantastic Mr. Fox, although that has more to do with the book and the director than Mr. Clooney. The Men Who Stare At Goats looks interesting, but I'm really looking forward to The Descendants, primarily because it's a Kaui Hemmings novel and is set (and filmed) in Hawai'i.
