Rihanna has finally spoken out about the night Chris Brown attacked her, saying it could have happened to anyone.
The ‘Umbrella’ singer – who was left battered and bruised after her ex-boyfriend assaulted her in February at a pre-Grammys party – knows she isn’t the only person to be the victim of domestic abuse.
“This happened to me. It can happen to anyone.”
However, the 21-year-old beauty admitted it was hard to come to terms with because of the feelings she had for the ‘Run It’ singer. She says in an episode of ‘Good Morning America’ due to air on Thursday:
“He was definitely my first big love.”
Chris recently gave an interview about the assault and spoke of his regret about attacking Rihanna and told how he is trying his best to make amends.
“I’m human. If people feel a certain way, I’m not going to say they’re wrong. But it’s not right to judge somebody when people make mistakes all the time.
“I’ve learned from my mistakes and I’m learning from them. And I regret every moment, every second of it.”
I can’t wait to hear her full side of the story. She’s been quiet for so long.

Seriously she needs to go away. The only reason she is talking about this “attack” now is because she has a cd coming out. So to talk about a personal matter to boost cd ratings to me is disgusting. Plus I don’t think it was all Chris Brown’s fault. She is known for a temper, and I am sorry, but if a girl is sitting there wailing on a guy, I think he has every right to hit back. This b*ll Sh*t about it being ok for a woman to hit a man, but not a man to hit a woman.. I don’t agree with (and yes I am a woman) But needless to say I lost mad respect for her to use domestic abuse to promote a cd.
I completely agree with you on the CD promotion issue. THe other point about it being OK for a man to hit back, not so much. There is always a better option.
I’m glad she’s finally speaking out about what happened to her. Even though the timing with her new cd coming out is a little fishy, especially since a couple of songs have “leaked” and don’t seem very good.
