I’ve been waiting anxiously for ‘V’ to FINALLY air its first episode and last night it finally happened. Did you watch? What did you think?
The graphics are obviously a 1000% better than when the original was out which gives it more of a realistic feel. When they showed inside the spaceship and the lizard skin of one of the injured aliens, I actually became giddy. I think the series is going to be great and I can’t wait for next week’s episode.

I watched it and the graphics like you said were amazing. But I actually found that the story progressed almost too quickly. I know it is a t.v show and what not but it just felt like Aliens come>Aliens turn out to be evil.
We’ll see if it lasts.
I watched it, and i was a bit bored. It seems like an OK show but nothing too great, there’s just so many similar shows on TV.. Even if it’s supposed to be Sci-Fi it felt like the basic action plot, just that there are those extra terrestrials.

Of course I watched it. I’m a huge SciFi geek, huge. It was okay, felt a little rushed, like they just jumped right in with the story line without setting up the story or the characters properly. I hope they don’t rush the entire series, like they did the pilot. It’s no BSG but it does have potential and I will be watching.
That is exactly what I thought.
Have you ever seen a show called Earth: Final Conflict. It’s a Gene Roddenberry production of course and they set the characters up right! Very similar story line aliens come but turns out they are here for their own means etc. Check it out if you can.
I actually sat down to watch this and while I was into it for the first half hour, I became bored shortly thereafter. I don’t think its something I will be watching again.
The character story lines are already pretty different, just the concept is the same- then again, I guess their situations are just more updated. My husband made fun of the original and wouldn’t watch it with me due to the terrible special effects and acting. He DID watch all of the new one last night and said he liked it much better. I’m pretty excited about it, and I don’t ever commit to watching any show regularly, but I’m looking forward to catching these.

nope didnt watch it. i didnt watch the original one so that’s why it doesnt grab my attention.
I caught bits and pieces of it. My husband is the big fan in our house and he enjoyed it very much.

Last night on ABC at 8:00.
it was ok but I liked the old one better maybe that is just an age thing- they are remaking all the things from my childhood and they are just not the same!
