Now this should be an interesting pair on-screen! I told you a while ago that Angelina Jolie had signed on to replace Charlize Theron in ‘The Tourist,’ with ‘Terminator Salvation’ star Sam Worthington as her co-star.
Now Sam has pulled out, and Johnny Depp is in talks to replace him as the male lead.
The revamp of the 2005 French spy thriller “Anthony Zimmer” involves a female Interpol agent who ropes an everyman American tourist visiting France into becoming bait in the hunt for a wanted criminal who’s also her former lover.
Oh, I hope this happens! I can’t even imagine these two together on-screen, but I know I’d go to the theaters to see it. What do you think of Angelina and Johnny starring in a film together?

These hookup comments are so stupid. Other her exhusbands and probably Brad what co-star has Angelina dated, especially in the past five years? Most celebrities talk about their personal life when doing interviews so I don’t get why people bash Brad and Angelina for doing it. It’s funny that people attack them for being in the tabloids all of the time when the fact is they haven’t done anything to be in them. Most photos are of them shopping or Brad on his motorcycle. It’s the tabloids and blogs that feel the need to do a whole story of them trick or treating or Brad’s beard. Or make up stories that they are breaking-up and Brad and Jennifer are back together.
Trust me, this hook up WILL happen.

I think she sucks @ acting . It’s hard for me to see her in a movie because she sucks as an actress. As a matter of fact I think Brad pitt can’t act either. They are both famous cause there looks.
I think Johnny Depp is one of the best actors out there along with Sean penn.

Jolie, Depp and Pitt have known each other for years and are good friends. Depp had an impromptu pap interview while on his way to see Shiloh when she was born. This pairing would be a producers dream and I hope he takes the role. Sorry about the german director pulling out though. Aniston and Pitt grew apart, he should have left her years before he actually did since the marriage was basically over in 2003 (9 months separation when he filmed Troy? Doesn’t sound like a stable relationship in my book) but unfortunately he didn’t. Aniston could have done a witherspoon and taken the high road but playing the “wronged ex-wife who screamed at the ocean and cried in between yoga moves” was much more lucrative (if she could act she wouldn’t have needed the “pity party” or PR games to sell tickets and stay viable once her A list meal ticket was gone). So now all the “my husband left me for a younger, more attractive and interesting woman” population idolizes Aniston (yet don’t go to her 1 star movies) and hates that skanky ho Jolie. the PR worked to a certain extent, Aniston will always be looked at as the poor lonely spinster, Jolie will always be the husband stealer, and strangely enough, Pitt will continue to be the teflon don. Can’t wait to see Salt!

I think that on screen they would be fine. However I think that for Johnny’s personal life it would be a big mistake. Angie is in the tabloids every week. Johnny has made a point of never living a life where the tabloids are interested in him. It would not matter what happened on set the tabloids would make sure that they were having an affair. It would be really sad to see the circus that this would make out of Johnny’s life for him and his family.
