Charlize Theron has to be one of the most low-key A-list celebs out there! She’s always struck me as being laid-back and down-to-earth. Now I look at her walk the red carpet for her new film, ‘The Road,’ and I’m convinced.

Yes, this movie is based on Cormac McCarthy’s novel, ‘The Road,’ which was also an Oprah Book Club pic. Viggo Mortensen stars in the movie, too. Given that it’s based on a best-selling novel, this has to be the quietest release for a movie adaptation I’ve ever seen. These pictures are the first I’ve heard about the film coming out. Do you want to see it?
And, of course, my most important question: love it or hate it?

I love the dress, although not the bottom half so much, would have been better slightly longer, but the shoes not so much.
SHE can afford flats!!! the woman is like 6 feet tall or something!! so it’s a nice change to what you normally see on the red carpet. Go charlize!!

i love her look, especially flat shoes, since I can’t wear any heals.
Hope the look comes back then. And I read the book and I liked it and can imagine it well. The trailer looked different than I imagined, but we will see… it’s a tough book and her role isn’t even in it – but book adaptations should be taken different as the book itself, I guess… however, I go and see it.

I like the shoes and the top of the dress, but not really feeling the bathrobe-y look of it at the bottom. She does not exactly look happy to be there, though.
Hate it. Hate the hair, hate the make-up, hate the dress, the sandals are nice-but not for the red carpet. I’m a little disappointed she’s usually very on point…

Whoa, she looks like Kirsten Dunst in that picture. She’s not wearing that dress very well. She looks very uncomfortable in it and that makes the dress unattractive on her.
