For a long time, I didn't either. I picked up one of her books and it was hilarious. Then I looked her up and found she was just about to get her own show. I tune in once in a while - she's super sarcastic and snarky - i love that. LOL

Brutal is right. I can only take her in small doses. She goes from funny to mean quickly.
I like some of her stuff but sometimes she comes across as being too self righteous which is not good in the comedy scene. And I mean honestly anyone can make fun of other people its not talent. Plus she picks the easiest targets.

wonderful, sos he makes money off of being mean to people, congratulations! if paris was as stupid as everyone thinks, she wouldn't have stayed this rich longer than a few months... and it's somehow ironic that everyone's heard about paris hilton, but most people know nothing about this lady. probably just another disgruntled money-deprived person who discover she actually can make money if only she starts slamming everybody. me, i prefer stupid to mean anyday...

So her claim to fame is that for one, she's sleeping with some high up in the entertainment industry, and two, she has THREE OTHER COMEDIANS WHO DO HER JOB!!!!

I read one of the books Chelsea wrote - My Horizontal Life. I remember it being pretty funny. Anyway, she was performing her stand-up locally and I really wanted to go w/some friends of ours. I couldn't believe it when they said she absolutely SUCKED on-stage. They said that Chelsea was drinking vodka the entire time and was plastered (I know she wrote the book Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea..so I'm wondering if that part wasn't a put-on). Then my friends said that she just wasn't funny, wound up insulting the audience, told them that they sucked and walked off stage. Weird. I have never heard anything like this about her before. Has anyone else?

I havent, but i ABSOLUTELY LOVE her show. Shes so vulgar and makes fun of everyone, which is refreshing since she spares nobodies feelings. Its great that celebrities can laugh with her when she makes fun of them to their faces, lol.
