Jennifer Lopez Sues Ex-Husband Over Movie
Well, it looks like the cease-and-desist letter didn't work. Jennifer Lopez formally sued her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, and producer Ed Meyer over the planned movie: 'How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story.'
Jennifer claims the movie violates a settlement agreement that included non-disparagement and non-disclosure clauses between Ojani and herself from 2005.
Lopez also alleges that Meyer sent her attorney an email stating that he'd purchased from Noa the "exclusive rights" to "11+ hours of previously unseen home video footage" of the ex couple.
She claims a second alleged email from Meyer to her lawyer described the footage as showing Lopez "in [a] revealing lack of clothing, and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel room footage from [her and Noa's] honeymoon."
Jennifer's suing for $10 million dollars. Clearly she means business.
But then, can you IMAGINE knowing their are videos like that of you floating around if you're a celebrity? In this day and age, I'd be terrified of it hitting the internet! You can view the legal document here.
