Demi Moore is on the cover of W magazine’s December issue looking as sexy AND YOUTHFUL as ever. In her interview, she discusses being labeled a cougar, twitter, aging and more.
ON being LABELED A “COUGAR” FOR HER RELATIONSHIP with 31-YEAR-OLD ACTOR, ASHTON KUTCHER… “I’m certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl. I don’t know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say, ‘There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?...I’d prefer to be called a Puma.”
On how Twitter is transforming HER IMAGE… “People are much more interested in what I have to say directly, and that really changed the whole dynamic I have with fans…I can’t impress enough the difference in how people are perceiving me. They’re getting to see who I am.”
ON HOW AGE IS STIFLING HER CAREER… “The frustrating part is that the type of roles I’d be interested in are not really coming to me. I hate to say it’s a function of my age [47]—but yes, I think in some ways it is. The majority of [female] roles are geared between 25 and 35.”

Demi uses Twitter to do some amazing things. They organize donations for organizations to feed the hungry and buying thousands of mosquito nets. She and Ashton have done some great things. Let it go.

Demi is really a natural beauty(I've seen personal photos on twitter). she doesnt even need makeup. But...with the amount of airbrushing going on these days.....who knows how much of this is really her. In my opinion she doesnt need any airbrushing at all but if they airbrush a size 2 model who is 22 years old, I can only imagine what they think they need to do to a 47 year old women
Photoshop much? Seeing as her career has stalled over the past ten years, and she is known in the tabloids now for her silly daughter, her silly husband, and her extraordinary surgery enhancements, why is she noteworthy? Meh.
If it actually is plastic surgery that's made her look so good, I want to see that surgeon!!

she might look beautiful without all the makeup and glamour but only Bruce willis, her daughters and Ashton know that. This photoshopped picture makes her look tooo skinny and not to healthy or natural looking. If she looks this good on a sunday morning after waking up then I might give her some complements.

I'm curious as to what types of roles she's interest in? Is she interested in playing the 25 year old or is she being realistic in what roles would be suitable for her. I really have no opinion of her either way and I really don't mean to bash her with my comment. She's very attractive and has always been really attractive but I can't say that she's a really talented actress, cause she's not. And I have a hard time taking her serious because all she does is twitter with her twit of a husband Ashton.

While it's obvious that the film/TV industry operates ludicrous/anachronistic/sexist double standards with regard to age/appearance, women like Demi Moore aren't doing anything to help the situation. Rather than selling herself on her appearance/private life etc, she could try ...acting? So there are no major film roles on offer but what about independent films or even the theatre ....but then she'd still want to be the gorgeous ingenue wouldn't she?
Lets face it this is not a proper representation of what she looks like, show me the unmodified and no make up version then lets see. We haven't come to the point yet when we can truely make people look younger, that is why it is such a schock when we see celebrities without all the digital massage and make up.

Demi Moore is notorious for being one of the most fit and active celebrities and always has been. If it helps you sleep at night to think she has an amazing body because of photoshopping or retouching, be my guest. But this is one woman who needs little to no help in that area. Did anyone see GI Jane and the physical regimen she went through to be able to do what she did in that movie? So she has fake boobs and has had some work done on her face. Big deal. That's called Hollywood. Based on the outcome, she'd be smart to keep the name of her plastic surgeon to herself because he'd get really busy really quickly. She looks amazing.

She's a beautiful woman, no doubt about that, but this photoshop business is a bit too ridiculous. If she's so naturally stunning i doubt that she might need all of this trasformation.
Just out of curiosity, what exactly is it that you think is transformed? She looks like herself to me. Skin tone? Big deal? She IS that tiny, by the way. I might agree with you and the other posters if it looked like they did a lot more than what I'm seeing - which can mostly be attributed to make-up and lighting. You know, pretty standard stuff for a cover photo shoot.
It is disgusting what this magazine has done with Demi's body! No wonder young girls are starving themselves to look like women in magazines. There is nothing wrong with Demi's natural body, it is more stunning than most celebrities, so why the need to retouch? Shame on W magazine.
