Joel Madden Walks Out Of Radio Interview
According to PopEater, two Australian radio hosts pushed Joel Madden to his limit today and he walked out of an interview. He took to his Twitter account to vent about it:
Just walked out of a FOXfm interview in Melbourne not in the mood to be a clown."
"Most of the time I can put up with idiot morning show hosts but not today. I guess I have finally found some aussie's I don't get on with..."
Joel is in Australia with his band, Good Charlotte. The hosts were testing Joel & Benji on their "twin abilities". They put a mask on Benji and then handed Joel the infamous photo of Britney Spears getting out of a car without underwear on. Benji guessed that Joel was annoyed and Joel told the hosts:
"I think I'm pretty laid back dude, but you guys are getting on my nerves."
The hosts tried to apologize and move on to another twin challenge but Joel just stated "we're outta here" and left.
He was obviously in no mood for those kinds of "games" today. Really, how was he supposed to respond to being handed that picture? I don't blame him for being annoyed.

The more I read about this guy, the more I like him. He had every right to walk out of that interview!
I just went on another news source. It said that Joel told the producers off air that he was offended about being shown the photo because he's a dad.
Well..what a great dad..using the lanuage he did on live radio while we dropped our children off at school how dare he.Everyone has seen that stupid pic..harden up.Celebs are just jumping on the bandwagon after Downey Jnr spat it.
Good for him! I think he sounds like a decent guy.

But you think using photos of celebs with no undies on for subject matter is ok while young children are listening then?

As much as i love the fox, i listen to them every morning, i think that they were out of line. It wasn't even about the brit photo! that just happened to be the last straw. Jo was insinuating to joel that he and nicole were selling photos of harlow and sparrow just to make money and questioning the reasons behind being away from their kids "getting drunk with his brother for 3 weeks" I think they were dignified in their actions and if i were in the same position i would have walked out sooner! they're here to work not to put up with bullshit insinuations. good on you boys!

God just cause he had a big night out getting drunk and wasn't up 2 having a morning interview! There was so need 2 ack like he did. I bet most people who think he's cool for walking out have NEVER listened to the interview!!! he comes off as an IDIOT!!

Most morning shows are pretty childish. But he should have known what he was getting into beforehand surely? and funny how most of the commentors above bitching about Joel seem to be austrailians.
