John Travolta And Kelly Preston Have Relied On Scientology To Cope With Son's Death

I still Cannot Even Imagine coping with the death of a child. John Travolta and Kelly Preston are breaking their silence as they promote their new film, 'Old Dogs,' which is also daughter Ella Bleu's big screen debut.

"We decided it was OK to come out and promote, to introduce her to the world and to give her a beautiful future in film," Travolta says during a round-table interview with the cast of the film.

"We've been working very hard every day as a family to heal."

John said this includes being around family, friends, and "almost daily religious counseling sessions."

"We have our own way of doing it, and it has been helping."

Both John and wife Kelly Preston said they appreciated all the support they've received.

Preston says the "outpouring of love from, really, worldwide has been extraordinary. It's been our friends, our family, our church. We partake in spiritual counseling pretty much daily.

"It's a tricky thing," she says. "Sometimes, something that's right for the moment is not right the next day. Being with people who are important to you, being with people that you love, I think that's what has primarily helped us the most. Sometimes, being alone, too."

Both John and Kelly declined to comment on the extortion case, which ended in a mistrial last month and will have to be retried.

'Old Dogs,' which also stars Robin Williams, is scheduled for release November 25.

Good for them, whatever help them to cope. I wouldn't even dare to imagine such loss.

My thoughts exactly. I don't want to even entertain the idea of having to wonder how I'd cope, if that makes sense. It's unimaginable.

I really hope they will find peace soon. I'm sure the movie with Robin Williams will probably be a riot.

I couldn't imagine losing a child, but I also couldn't imagine bring roped into a cult.

Not to break the chain of condolences, but what's with every actor's child getting into acting? Maybe she's the next Meryl Streep, who knows? However, it's sad that legit talents have such a hard time finding their big break, yet so many celeb relatives get thrown roles.

The whole mistrial thing would anger me. To have the case still going on would inhibit healing.

I love Ella B's dress, straps with the shoulder exposed, but her hair covering her shoulders, and her tween-friendly, little wedgie sandles. Smiley, Noah, THIS is how it is done.

Scientology is what killed their son in the first place. That cult prevented them from giving their child the medication that would have kept the child alive today.

Scientologists are completely against any medication that affects the brain.

Question: What DO scientologists believe happen to you once you die?
