The 2009 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Kerry Washington, Andie MacDowell, Iman, Serena Williams, Stella McCartney, Amanda Righetti, Amy Poehler, Katharine McPhee, and Lisa Ling attended the 2009 Glamour Women of the Year Awards last night in NYC.

Best quote of the night came from Amy when she received her award from ‘Saturday Night Live’ producer Lorne Michaels. She said:

“Girls, if boys say something that’s not funny, you don’t have to laugh.”

Words to live by! :)

All kidding aside, there was some wonderful inspiration spoken last night at the ceremony.

Maya Angelou: Women are rainbows in the clouds. I am grateful to be a woman. I must have done something great in another life.”

Serena Williams:
“You can do whatever you want to do. The most important belief is self-belief.”

Congratulations to all the 2009 winners.
