‘Dollhouse’ And ‘Hank’ Are Latest Shows To Be Canceled

This is just not a good week for TV stars. Fox announced today that Dollhouse, starring Eliza Dushku, is done and over. They will finish out the 13 episode season for viewers.

Also on the chopping block – ABC announced that the Kelsey Grammer show, Hank, has been canceled. Fans of the show might be a little disgruntled, as they will only being showing one last episode. There are five more done and ready to go but there’s no word on whether ABC will air them. ABC gave the ax to show Eastwick yesterday, as well. They did pick up full seasons of the new smash hits Cougar Town, Modern Family and The Middle.

What do you think of the latest shows to get the boot? Are you disappointed?

I haven’t seen any of these.

I’m sad for Dollhouse and i’ve enjoyed Eastwick as well but i can live without it. Hank, Cougar Town, Modern Family.. couldn’t care less.

    No surprise here!

  4. Pam says:

OMG I’m so upset about Dollhouse. One of the best shows on tv right now. How can we stop this?

I am totally bummed about Dollhouse….I was so hooked on that show but I kinda saw it coming…..Fox never really gave it much of a chance, automatically throwing it on Fridays (TVs graveyard really) and there was little to no promotion for it. Fox is infamous for putting shows on and cutting them down before really giving them a chance. I will miss Dollhouse….I loved TruCalling too!

  6. Milly says:

I am sorry about Dollhouse, I really enjoyed it.

  7. Chelle says:

I have never seen either of them.

I’m sad to hear about Dollhouse :( But I was not honestly expecting it to get a second season, anyway.

i didnt get to watch many episodes of dollhouse but it looked good. too bad.

  10. Annon says:

Dollhouse looked great in the preview clips, but I watched a full episode one time and it was just okay. Not surprised to hear that one is cancelled.

  11. Meggie says:

I’m a bit disappointed about Dollhouse, but I can’t say that I’m surprised. There wasn’t much to be done for the show as it was, stuck in a 9pm Friday slot and given minimal promotion. I love Joss Whedon, but he’s a bit of a glutton for punishment, going back to Fox again and again.

Already! Ok, I think I’m just giving up on TV. All I ever watch are reruns of old shows, oh well : )

I didn’t watch either show, but it’s too bad for Kelsey Grammer. I did like the show he was on last year which also got the ax prematurely. :(

  14. OutInLeftField says:

It seems like shows are being canceled before they are even given a chance.

  15. DonnaJ says:

    True.

It really makes me envious. but also feel proud on the other hand. As we know, we LGBT are often regarded as special people. many bisexual friends of mine at **BiMingle.com** know this and also have experienced. But whenever seeing this news about LGBT we can get more encourage immediately.

I enjoyed Dollhouse I thought it was a very thought provoking program. I consider myself lucky to have got 26ep out of this program so no, no surprise here. 26 seems to Eliza Dushku number. Her last TV show Tru Calling ran for 26ep.
