Molly Sims Defends Josh Duhamel

Molly Sims went on E! Entertainment's Daily 10 to defend her 'Las Vegas' co-star Josh Duhamel and his rumored infidelity. When asked, the actress said:
“We emailed yesterday. It’s absolutely not true and he’s a great guy. I’ve worked with him for five years. You know, listen. Don’t believe everything you read. Look at what’s going on in so many other reality-based things in the world right now and that’s just one of them, and someone’s trying to make a lot of money. Josh is a great guy and it’s sad ‘cause his wife is amazing, too.”
If the rumor is false, then these two will weather the storm and come out stronger than ever. It's nice to see Josh has friends that are standing up for him throughout the negative press.

Just because someone defends you don't make you innocent.

The fact that she was paid $20,000 for the story doesn't seem right. I don't understand why the private lives of celebrities are open for public scrutiny in the first place. Everybody is trying to make a buck off of someone else's pain.

Yup, yup.
You know what's weird, don't you? That Molly Sims is speaking out. Does she follow Josh around all the time? How would SHE know if this is true or not. That is just weird!

Like he's going to admit it to her, in an e-mail. If the story is not true he could sue that stripper for her false accusations.
If it were not true, he would have sued the stripper for defamation already...
The comment makes Milly Sims appear silly and naive.
She was said to be fond of internet recently. Some of her fans found her on BiMingle.com. She has a personal account there with her pictures, blog...In her friend circle, some other stars can be found there.

The Stripper passed the lie detector test...so someone is mistaken about what happened.
Lie detectors are so useless. Scientifically unsound. If you believe them go watch Maury some more.

Hmmm, I'm still on the fence about what I believe with the actual story. I do think if it was true Josh would probably not admit it in an email, because that would be a dumb thing to do.
and she would know how???? Who is she to say it's not true, I can see if fergie says it not true but her someone who simply just "co-stars" with him. Plus like som other people already said, if it is true , what does she think that he would "email" her and tell her. "hey molly you know those rumors out? well they are true- but please dont tell my wife"
Who cares.
I agree that this doesn't prove anything, BUT I do think that if you work closely with someone for 5 years you get a good idea of what they're like... and if she suspected it might be true, surely she would've just avoided saying anything, rather than look foolish when the truth came out. And whoever said "where there's smoke..." - I really hate that phrase. Sometimes accusations are actually made with no foundation whatsoever, but people hear that and assume there must be some truth to it.
Rumors like this remind me of this episode of 'Extras' were Ricky Gervais' character asks a woman in a restaurant to keep her kid quiet, not realising the kid has down syndrome. It gets into the tabloids and escalates to the point where they're saying he punched a down syndrome kid in the face.
